Even after reviewing it, This was still called Offensive PI.

And this was ruled incomplete.

"Clear & obvious evidence" my ass.

First ones a blown call.

From the picture you showed? Second one is incomplete 100%

I would be less vigilant if the NFL called this with any consistency; they seem to only call the ticky-tack penalties and ignore the blatant ones. In the Steelers-Ravens game the refs immediately threw a roughing flag when Rudolph's helmet was grazed (and I mean barely grazed), but when Rudolph is lying on the field literally unconscious it takes the ref a year to consider throwing the flag.

Rudolfph was out of the pocket so the protections for the qb change.

In all honesty, I'm glad that this kind of game happened now so that the Chiefs can see that they can't rely on Mahomes's talent to bail them out when they don't execute. They need to understand that if they are going to win it all that it'll be a team effort. We need Eric Fisher back, badly, though. That much I know because Cameron Erving has the stopping power of a revolving door

-Piggybacking off of that, apparently the medical cart broke so that’s why they had to drag Rudolph off the field like a wounded soldier. As a tweet from an NFLPA rep said, how does a gazillion dollar organization let something like that happen?

Apparently there were multiple medical carts, but the Steelers' medical staff waved off the additional/backup carts as they decided a cart was not necessary for his concussion.

The Bills are 4-1 and their schedule looks a lot softer now than it did at the start of the season. They still have Cleveland, Pittsburgh and Baltimore, but none of those teams have distinguished themselves. The NFC East looks to be not great, and only NE is worth a damn in the division.

Not saying the Bills wind up 14-2, but 11-5 isn't really out of the question.

BILL-IEVE!!!

(And wouldn't it be great to see Buffalo back in the postseason? That is one of the most impassioned football cities I've been to--and not counting *New England*, I done been to all but three of them.)

Interesting, I hadn’t heard that. That’s a questionable decision, to put it mildly. He could barely walk on his own.

He couldn’t walk on his own, he was “walking” back to the locker room out on his feet just going where the other 2 players dragged him. He had no clue where he was.

It would be! It's been a whole two years :)

But 2017 was very much a fluke and Buffalo backed in as much as a team could possibly back in. The Bills' defense is top 5 in the league and Allen is at least matching (if not exceeding) the other high QB picks in the 2018 draft (Mayfield, the guy with mono, Rosen, Mason Rudolph).

Yeah, I'd use a word much stronger than "questionable". The medical cart fiasco was arguably worse than the hit itself.

I'd say that entire situation encapsulates the Steelers season to this point (and probably going forward).

Maybe the 49ers are good. Maybe the Browns are awful. Who knows?

EDIT: I think the Browns are Actually Bad.

Are the 49ers the best team no one is talking about?

Lol, no. When they actually play someone who’s not terrible, they're gonna come crashing back down to the surface of the planet harder than the rovers Russia sent to Venus.

They have a clear path to 7-2...and then a clear path to 9-7 after that.

Maybe they'll be smart enough not to lose to the Cardinals twice this time.

Browns get the Seahawks and Patriots next... Could get uglier.

I hope you all learned a valuable lesson about being excited for the Browns.

I will also support any time when real sports have wrestling-quality trash talk and pettiness.

Meant to post this yesterday but forgot. Look away Washington fans, for the rest of us, this article by Mike Tanier pulling no punches about the Washington NFL Franchise is a very entertaining read:
