The Tiger-Cats black jersey concept reminds me of when they actually did wear a tiger stripe in the late 1990s-early aughts. Plain and simple. Stampman Posted August 19, 2019 Share Posted August 19, 2019 Well looking forward to the rest Some comments as a long time CFL fan First--the template has one thing that kind of looks odd to me--it looks like the players are wearing sock garters. But I can look past that to see the concepts you have -Lions: they're ok--but not quite sure who to improve them--although there is more consistency over the different units than their actual set. -TiCats: the all black & all white ones look best--but based on team history the yellow is needed--so good you had those options-nice work with the stripes -Stamps--Home is real nice--toned down black-which I prefer for the Red& White--the stripes work well, but with the away set I'd prefer red--both due to the red & white thing as well as the red helmets. The "Outlaw" set is where the black can be used--but maybe wider outlines not he numbers. -Argos--real nice--fits the team's history & tradition quite nicely -Eskimos -fits the tradition and pretty much something they used to do -RedBlacks--maybe more red in the primaries? fitting the name? But not quite sure how to work that in. Overall--nice job. Comic Sans walks into a bar, and the bartender says, "Sorry, we don't serve your type here." The font for the Argos is pretty bad (that 1 is awful), and the Eskimos' 3 has that weird long serif at the top. Jersey designs are great. Helmets are really good. I think one helmet stripe (on the player's right side) oddly looks tapered when it's not. Smart is believing half of what you hear. Genius is knowing which half. appleclock Posted August 22, 2019 Share Posted August 22, 2019 I kinda like the logo Montréal has now over the Delta logo, but definitely a huge improvement balancing the colors with more white. Biggest issue with their current look is the huge lack of contrast between the blue and red, and the novelty placement of the helmet logo. Saskatchewan looks cool with the striping from the logo on the sleeves, but a little too gimmicky. I like their current retro look they wear on labour day weekend over anything else they’ve worn. Good execution though. Winnipeg I could get behind. Nothing too off brand at all there. Not a fan of blue pants for them, but I must say it looks good.
