dfwabel 4,155 Posted October 26, 2019 (edited) Michigan's next head coach, when they have to name one, is currently working in Manhattan KS. EDIT: And he's just given Nick Saban a mulligan for losing to LSU and still being playoff eligible. CeeDee Lamb is still outrageous! dont care 6,569 Posted October 27, 2019 Can Alabama cut it off with the lights. I can only imagine how much worse it is in the actual stadium/ on-field.

I wouldn't hate it if they stopped using the elephant noises after a touchdown either.

You cannot "Row The Boat" as a trademark gimmick at your traditional Power 5 schools.

The thing I like about being a fan of teams with the initials of ASU where the A is a state and they play FBS ball, is that expectations are poisonous to them and so the only way for the team to perform well is for the fans to expect nothing but failure.

That said, they look like the real deal. Their offense is clicking (I’d trade offenses with them) and their defense is pretty good. Against non-conference cupcakes, they needed to pull rabbits out of hats to win. But since then, they have looked great. It truly is amazing how they have played nobody through eight games. It will be interesting to see what happens against Penn State. They have essentially clinched the West and while I don’t see them beating Ohio State, they should give them a better game than yesterday’s paper tiger did.

Ohio State playing Jump Around in the 4th might fire them up but Wisconsin needs to be more dynamic with their passing game. When you contain Taylor the game is pretty much over. The only scoring drive they had started on Ohio State's 25 yard line.

If you can bottle up UW's run game, it's usually over. OSU can routinely do that.

Yeah, woof. That was rough. ASU labeled schools have to expend at least one of those a season. It’s just the laws of nature.
See Red 2,091 Posted October 28, 2019 Disregard. Forgot there was a more appropriate thread for NCAA NIL news from today. So I'll turn this post into me being happy ESPN chose Memphis for Memphis/SMU over Jacksonville for Florida-Georgia for Gameday. Whenever there's a game that justifies it, ESPN should choose new locations/teams over ones they've been to recently. Hoping if Minnesota wins this week they choose Minnesota over Tuscaloosa next week. (Ron Howard narration: "They won't")
