Would you really call it a major upset though?

I wish I hated Arizona, because I would love to delight in their hilarious failures. Unfortunately, I have very little opinion about them.

Not gonna lie, it’s pretty great.

Sun Devils O line looks about as meh as can be, but hey a win is a win!

A medium upset. UCA is starting to gain a rep for beating FBS teams, even though 2/3 of those wins are just Western Kentucky (don't ask me about the other 1/3)

I'm officially jumping on board the Arizona hate bandwagon. It'll be easy to root for another ASU that hates UA, but it'll be even easier because they actually play each other and I don't really care.

I call it taking their $325K, then slapping them in the face.

Their Hawai'i trip will be a money maker too since they aren't paying for airfare or lodging.

Is that standard procedure for Hawaii's buy games?

Rutgers is currently getting whipped by UMass. Conference realignment is not a meritocracy.

They traditionally pay teams a travel subsidy, even for WAC and now Mountain West games. That subsidy is currently $2.1M per season and they have 7-8 home games

They also have island media rights which are fairly lucrative, as they have most games on PPV. If it is not on ESPN/CBSSN, it will air locally on PPV and Facebook via Stadium.  They get a couple million from local PPV.

Nevermind about UMass and Rutgers. It's the opposite of what I said earlier.

Charlie Strong + Kerwin Bell ain't working in Week 1 for USF

At least next week @GT will be a "Battle of the Chumps"

I figure one thing, if UW had USF's QB instead of Coan, the blowout would probably have been bigger.  If, conversely, USF had UW's receiving corps, they would have stood an actual chance of an upset.

Taylor looked good after a bit of a slow start, but Coan looked off.  Won't lie, I'm worried about how things will go against Michigan in a few weeks if the bastards in blue are able to bottle up JT.

Meh, first-game-as-true-starter jitters. He got better when he focused on the shorter, safer throws. Build that confidence before going for the long ball and he'll be alright. Same with the defense: early on they got lucky on dropped passes but after that, they were in control. Jonathan Taylor Touchdown (JTT) had himself a nice night. I'm a happy badger this week; and it's not just the brandy old fashioneds talking. On Wisconsin!

Purdue just gave up 20 unanswered to lose to Nevada. Remember how happy they were to be able to keep Jeff Brohm?

Purdon't had their bowl game as a debacle versus Auburn.

Nevada was a 11 point home dog.  And it started the week at 10.

Rondelle Moore is great, but altitude and travel made that a good number to put $$$ on the Pack.

Spencer Sanders looks good. Like real good. I’m glad Gundy benched him last year to better understand the offense

I totally forgot about that bowl game. More like Purdoo.

So who tried telling me willie taggart is a good head coach, and this year would be different because it would now be his team?
