Am I the only one more shocked by the fact that Tampa Bay lost to Arizona 7-3?

I mean, I know Arizona is good this year (for once) But it's still the Tampa Bay Lightning.

The leafs lost to their own Zamboni driver who happens to be their minor league practice goalie on the side, 6-3. That’s a lot more shocking.

MLSE needs to rebrand to TRSE - Toronto Raptors Sports and Entertainment, because the Raptors are actually, you know, competitive. Move the Leafs to - ugh, I dunno, Birmingham, Alabama? Somewhere where hockey is less popular than lawn bowling.

Would not be the first time a Toronto hockey team moved to Birmingham

I saw, I came, I left.

The President's Trophy-winning, swept-in-the-first-round-by-a-team-that-never-won-a-playoff-series-before Tampa Bay Lightning, let us never forget. 😛

Arizona was good last year, too, but got absolutely obliterated by injuries; sorta like what's happening to the Pens and Jackets this year. They just barely missed the playoffs last year in spite of it, so I'm not shocked they're doing well this year. Good to finally see them get scoring more then like 2-3 goals, though, that's been a problem.

Though Tampa's gotta be breathing a sigh of relief that they didn't lay the biggest egg of the night. Boston decided to one up them and let in like 9 goals against the Canucks...😬

I’m just annoyed Thornton wasn’t put out on the street with a “free” sign.

I mean, may as well keep him around for this year. There's no way you guys make the playoffs anyways, might as well let Thornton have one last ride.

'Sides, he'd be useful to help develop your younger players with some veteran experience; and that's important for a rebuilding team.

I think the opposite. The Sharks should eliminate whatever is left of the 2014 “rotten core” and start anew. There has to be a new organizational culture.

Somehow I don't think David Ayres is done with the NHL. I could see him resurfacing soon.

Good :censored:ing riddance to both Marleau and Thornton. Kick rocks, and stay gone this time.
