JCRGraphix
Thanks everybody for all the feedback!!! To finish off the Big Southern, we have the UTFW Stampede. A relatively newer school, UTFW has done relatively well making a few playoff appearances, but they haven't ever made it to the title game. Other than the addition of a green uniform, the Stampede have had the same look since day one. JCRGraphix
Up next is the University of Grand Rapids with their crimson and cream uniforms. They have a fun rivalry with Kalamazoo State for the Barley Bowl celebrating the beer-making history in each city. JCRGraphix
Up next are the Indy State Lions. The Lions have a long history of excellent defense but in recent years haven't gotten much in the way of offense leading to their current streak of 9 losing seasons. It hasn't always been bad though with the Lions winning 3 GLA titles over the years. This one's kind of an odd one, but there was a recent news story here in GR that a farmer had been using a meteorite worth about $100,000 as a doorstop for years. That and we have several large meteorites found here in the GR area.
JCRGraphix
Up next are the Minnesota Tech North Stars who get their name from the motto on the state's flag and seal "l’étoile du nord". JCRGraphix
We conclude this project with one of the toughest teams in the nation, the Wisconsin State Warriors. The Warriors were an independent team up until the late 1990s when they joined the GLA despite the MWAC being a stronger conference. Because of this, a lot of midwestern football fans always complain about the Warriors being overrated and not playing anyone. Despite this, they are regular contenders for the National Title.
