I know you give me :censored: sometimes for the way I’m a fan, but there is absolutely NO CHANCE I could root for that clown ass organization. It’s amazing how much of a tire fire they are. They’re such a worthless organization. Luka was the right choice for them in that draft, and every :censored:ing person outside of their front office knew it.  It’s astounding how easy of a choice that was and they STILL made the wrong pick.

If there was any way we could’ve gotten the arena downtown and just used it for concerts, the rodeo, and, like, monster trucks and :censored:, it would’ve been so worth it to just kick that team out of town. They’re the ultimate waste of resources.

Well at least the Republic will distract from the ineptitude.

The Kings have won 6 of 8. If they keep it going and end up with 50 wins at the end of the season, we'll see how well this ages.

Lots of green in LA tonight.

The Clippers desperately need their own arena. I recommend this one:

Or even this one:

First off, if they win 50 games it’ll be just short of a miracle. The last time they won 50 games was 15 years ago!

Second, it’s not even so much the on court stuff that gets me about that team. I work in relatively close association with a lot of them and some of the stuff I’ve seen is straight up alarming in how little sense it makes. There are points where it feels like they’re actually trying to keep their fans from enjoying anything, and the few times they are proactive, it’s like their owners actively try to fail with some of the decisions they make. The Maloofs were a total disgrace with how they ran the Kings the majority of the time they owned the team, but the current group has somehow inexplicably found a way to be a downgrade from them. The culture they pump out of that front office is straight up toxic. Sacramento isn’t exactly a real cosmopolitan city, so it’s an uphill battle for the Kings as it is without having morons running the show. And they’re the worst kind of morons. They’re idiots who think they’re the smartest people around.

Fair enough. It's all sports.

Boston's going to lose this game tonight because NBA refs are taking cues from NFL cluelessness. Lots of suspect calls against the Celtics at the end of the game tonight.

What the hell has happened to Golden State?  How did they become this bad this fast?

100 percent roster turnover from a championship team to a bunch of G-League guys plus Willie Cauley Stein.

It does make the Western Conference wide open, especially with the big 3 out with injuries.  By the time Steph and Klay come back, it could be too late for #8.

They won't even sniff #8. More like #15.

I'm pretty sure the Warriors are doing this on purpose at this point. They knew Klay was going to be out all year, they lost Durant/Livingston/Iggy/and more, and they're basically shelving Steph Curry until next season for rest purposes. They've built up a ton of good will with their fans with this current run, and are in a brand new building which will keep fans interested enough to sell tickets. They might as well just completely tank for the best possible draft pick and let the younger guys get a little more battle hardened by taking a beating all season.

They're in really rough shape at the current moment, but it's not like they're in Bulls post Jordan (The second time) rough shape. This seems like it's probably only going to be a one year speedbump, and I fully expect them to be back towards the top of the league again next year.

This Warriors run is FAR from over, IMO.

I fully expect them to be a big 4 again with Steph, Klay, Draymond & a key free agent acquisition.

Yeah, as soon as Klay went down in the finals last year and it was a torn ACL and KD leaving, I believed it was going to be a one year hiatus from the top.  I like Klay and Steph.  Draymond, not so much, but I do miss him kicking people in the groin.  They will be back on top next season but the one year hiatus of the Warriors does make the Western Conference wide open this year.

I have heard that's going to be in Inglewood, so how far would the arena be from SoFi Stadium?

Toronto lost Kawhi (and then Ibaka and Lowry) and are currently 10-4 with a road win over the full strength Lakers.

No broader point beyond that; just an observation that the Raptors are still good and haven't cratered the way the Heat and Cavs did after LeBron left. So, I guess I did have a broader point.

Kemba Walker’s getting stretchered off right now. Head/neck injury after a dumb luck collision with a teammate. Feeling sick and anxious having watched it.
