For my money, this was the perfect blend of the black and teal. spacer.png

I absolutely adore the 1993-2002 road grays. It's a terribly underrated look (although could perhaps be improved slightly by getting rid of the white outline on the wordmark). Regardless, I'd really like to see these worn in a throwback series. It would be awesome if another team hosted some kind of 90s weekend, allowing them to wear these again.

There is a lot of color options with vests. Not sure why vests are kind of out right now.

I can see teal making a comeback for one game, grey, or white for a few others. You could really extend the look of a uniform

heck, even go black with white pinstripes to keep the pinstrip look. Or even camo for camo day. How many teams have current vest looks?

Has anybody thought about a black-crowned cap with a teal bill for home/road use? That seems like a fair compromise between both phases of the 1993-2002 design.

The only thing the Yankees need to do is ditch the white outline (and possibly add gray heather texture) on their road uniform. I actually prefer the road uniform to be stripped down  It looks strong and dignified to me. There's no need for pinstripes in this look.

A big "no" to the wet-paper-bag look.

That road uniform is not dignified; it is just shabby.

You want a dignified uniform? This is a dignified uniform.

I've always thought this would be a great idea as either a road cap or home alternate.

Also, based on what I saw at the 25th anniversary weekend last season, I don't think that the all teal caps look as garish as they did back in 1993. In fact, I thought they looked rather sharp, although I might not insist on adopting them as a primary look. All teal helmets might be a little too much, though.

I can see the argument for both, but I also agree that even if it is less “dignified” it’s much more appropriate for the most famous team in American sports to wear a uniform that’s probably, for the most part, over 70-80 years old. As simple as it gets, just like the home uniform

Their Double-A Affiliate the Portland Sea Dogs did this, never understood why they never did.

I would imagine the Angels will modify their patch to the team font and add an outfield memorial for Skaggs when they get back to LA, as they did when they lost Adenhart.

It would seem so. Doesn't bother me given the piping is a bit thicker.

Nasty clash to me. Feels like it should be pinstripes, piping, or none but never both.

Are we sure it's not Fish Cubs or Fish White Sox?

I feel like those jerseys get unfairly bashed ONLY because they're so similar to the Yankees template.

It’s Fish White Sox, because of the black pinstripes, set-in sleeves, and the Block Standard numbers with silver accents.

The F-Fish doesn’t make a good jersey insignia. The proportions are too messy (tall, yet wide and has the two separate elements).

I was never a fan of this Marlins uniform, nor was I a fan of the similar model from their sister club:

Just like there was also a time when cars didn't come with seat belts and you had to crank the engine by hand to start it up. Should we go back to that, too, since it's traditional?

This is why I have a lot of problem with baseball traditionalists sometimes. I constantly have people I watch baseball tell me "they can't do that! That's now how it's supposed to be done!" I counter that if it's not against the written rules and it works, what's the issue? Baseball is a game of strategy, should teams not do unusual things if it helps them win? "But it's not what I remember!"

I agree man! I love baseball just as much as anyone else but I am in favor of interleague play, new rules that improve the game etc, speeding up regular season games, shortening the regular season so the playoffs don't end in the cold and wet environment of November, bat flipping, brawls you name it.

I don't agree with this one, actually.
