Details are super important, but in this specific case I think a lot are criticizing things about the jersey based solely on a personal idea, when in reality the jersey as it is currently looks great and (more importantly) falls in line with other modern baseball jersey designs. But I laid out at least one point where the new Brewers design is objectively bad - the off-center jersey wordmark created by the serifed font. You give me too much power, sir. Yes, it's subtle. But it's also objectively bad design. There's no reason for the W to have those ridiculous serifs that push the wordmark off-center. Especially since the design it's aping fit so well on the jerseys; the W was the width of the placket itself, centering the wordmark perfectly. And yeah, some of the flaws in this set are subtle flaws. For example, I don't like the A's with kelly green...I liked the sound of it, but didn't like it when I saw it...I like the forest and yellow. I think royal and yellow would have worked here but the change from gold to yellow is really the key in the departure from "drab." Some of the "flaws" are just personal preferences though. Like others have mentioned, one might consider thick sleeve piping and no collar piping a "flaw" while someone else might consider it perfectly fine or even preferred.
