Their Facebook and Twitter pages have been around since 2017.

 

This is a less elaborate NAFL (2014-15), when Christopher White + wife set up multiple websites, took money for tryouts which were never held in 2015 and White was subsequently arrested in 2017.

 

The NAFL Facebook team pages for the Memphis Kings, Birmingham Freedom, Columbus Flight, and North Carolina Red Wolves are still up if you want to recall their logos.

They plan on having teams in Los Angeles, Sacramento (but for some reason they say that Sacramento is in Texas), Spokane and Honolulu, but also in New York, London and Frankfurt.  How is that going to work travel wise?  They also plan to have two teams in Canada.

I’m not sure what it is you’re asking. You list 25 cities and ask why they are being overlooked. Overlooked how? 

10 of the cities you listed had either AAF, AFL or will have an XFL team, so they don’t “keep getting overlooked”

Also, just because a city has 600,000 people in it doesnt make it fit, there are a lot of other factors

A lot of those cities are not overlooked, at least in the eyes of the NBA, MLB or NHL. Quite a few on that list have teams from one, two or all three of those leagues.

Anybody can make a website and pick cities.  Getting the product ON THE FIELD is a whole other story and requires more money and work than most people realize.  As usual, I'll believe it when I see it.

 

I don't even see the FCFL taking off in six months, they don't even have an 8th owner yet. They say AFTER THAT comes the team names, logos, etc.  I'm not giving up on them, but it doesn't look good.  At least most of their product is digital, so it won't be as hard to get together.

Less so, but even so.  They're still competing for a finite amount of money, and at the end of the day they'll be evaluated independently - Huizenga isn't going to care that one of his teams is losing fans and dollars just because another one is gaining them.

According to their site, one of the FCFL owners is current Seahawks RB Marshawn Lynch.

I don't know about the IFL. They think Sacramento is in Texas. I honestly think it a scam. Also does Fargo, North Dakota count as a Eastern Conference team?

When the NHL expanded in 1967 they kept the "Original Six" teams in one division (East) and the expansion teams in the other (West)

So Philadelphia & Pittsburgh were in the West Division along with California/Oakland, LA,St Louis & Minnesota 

then in 1970 when they added Vancouver & Buffalo both of them were placed in the East Division (Yes Vancouver--on the West Coast was in the East Division, even stranger than Dallas being in the East Division) and Chicago was placed in the West Division with the 1967 Expansion teams.
