So why is it Seattle and Atlanta don't have the same issues as The Revs or NYC FC when it comes to their stadiums?

What do you mean?

There was once shared ownership of the Hawks and Sounders the way there is Falcons and United, which goes a really long way to not worrying about stadium issues.

Given the choice, Seattle fans would prefer an SSS. However, there's no reasonable path for one in the city core, so Lumen Field (eye roll) is the best option.

Not to mention Atlanta and Seattles stadiums are also located downtown where MLS now prefers its clubs to be, while Gillette Stadium is 30 minutes with good traffic and nearly 28 miles from the teams represented city of Boston. Providence is actually closer to Gillette Stadium than Boston is. When they started building the SSS, MLS and the teams went to the suburbs where the families with young kids were. The young kids are now at college in the city with limited transportation and no one wants to leave the city for a soccer game. Thats why they need to be in the urban core with its fans.

As for NYCFC, they play soccer on a baseball diamond, which is like fitting a rectangular peg in a diamond hole. Also, as with the city of Boston, a prime piece of real estate that can house a stadium is hard to come by in a big city such as Boston or New York, compared with smaller cities like, Cincinnati, Columbus, Austin, St Louis and Sacramento.

Minnesota United is officially a Minnesota sports team now.

More people seem to be upset that Revs and NYC FC have no SSS then they are with Seattle and Atlanta.

I certainly don’t see as much towards the Revs as I do NYCFC.   Probably because Yankee Stadium is a great place to watch a soccer game in person but that doesn’t translate to TV.

The Revs/Patriots stadium is 30 minutes from Boston or Providence with no traffic (and there's always traffic), maybe the most remote Big Four venue of all stadia, no public transit to speak of. And the stadium itself is perfectly functional but nothing special at all about the gameday experience compared with some of the cool new SSS's we've seen. The Patriots can get away with that, they'd fill a stadium on the moon, and their fanbase has historically been exurbanites anyway. But it's a real handicap for the Revs, who have always struggled with relevancy against the Big Four teams, doubly so if you accept the MLS thinking that your base now is moneyed yuppies + immigrant/first-gen American groups. (Also may not be a handicap at all, depending on your definition of success, but that's a different digression entirely.)

NYCFC's stadium isn't shaped correctly and they get kicked out by the Yankees regularly.

Only way more fitting for MLS to spend its 25th anniversary season (apart from the crowd levels throwing back to 2000, heyo!) would be for Columbus to win it in the final game at Crew Stadium. Plus I'm tired of Seattle.

Columbus is scheduled play at Mapfre to start next season, which as of right now is still scheduled to be early March, covid pending. The new stadium wont open until sometime in the summer. At this point  only Austin and Cincinnati are scheduled to open at the start of the season

USPL announces Women's League:

UPSL Announces Launch of Nationwide Womens League | UPSL Division I

Quote

December 9, 2020 – Los Angeles, CA – The United Premier Soccer League (UPSL) is excited to announce the launch of a nationwide pro development league for women – UPSL Women.

UPSL Women will provide a platform for the abundance of top-quality players throughout the country. This new endeavor marks another ground-breaking milestone for the UPSL, now the first national pro development league to sanction competitions for both Men and Women.

To help lead the efforts, U.S. Soccer Hall of Famer Paul Caligiuri has agreed to serve as National Director. In this role, Caligiuri will work on the strategic direction and structure of the league. Caligiuri is currently assembling a team of Division Managers to establish and grow regional territories across the country. In addition, Caligiuri has begun the process to identify a Commissioner for the new league, specifically seeking someone with deep experience in the women's game.

"I'm honored to be the new UPSL Women's National Director and to be working with the leadership of the UPSL. The UPSL is uniquely positioned as the only national pro development league in the country providing Men's and Women's teams and players this opportunity under one umbrella. That's important to club owners who want consistency and stability from their league. We want to be the league of choice for women's teams," Caligiuri said.

A key focal point for UPSL Women is the grouping of clubs based on geographical proximity. This approach has proven successful on the men's side as it aids the creation of local rivalries and minimizes the need for multi-state travel. Additionally, UPSL Women is positioned as the most affordable option among all national women's leagues.

In addition to Caligiuri, UPSL Women has already garnered the attention and support of another soccer great. FIFA instructor Andrea Rodebaugh, who captained Mexico's National Team at the 1999 FIFA Women's World Cup, currently serves as Women's Director for San Diego Premier Soccer Club.

"In most countries, opportunities for women to play soccer dry up after high school. I was fortunate to be able extend my career, but for most that is not a possibility. Communities have been begging for the development of the women's soccer structure and I believe that UPSL Women is a massive step in the right direction," Rodebaugh said. "UPSL Women is poised to be a great success and I am proud to be a part of it."

The inaugural season of UPSL Women is set to kick off on May 1, 2021 and run through the end of July.

For more information on UPSL Women, please visit the website at www.upsl.com or contact us via email at info@upsl.com.

Phoenix Rising is literally moving stadiums.

Interesting. Casino Arizona Stadium was on Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community land near the border of Scottsdale and Tempe. The new stadium site will be on Gila River Indian Community land about 17 or 18 miles southwest, adjacent to the intersection of I-10 and the south-central portion of the 202 Loop.

Oh, cool! Yet another Phoenix based team is ignoring the disaster that is the Coyotes moving out to Glendale and have learned absolutely nothing from it. I sure hope these guys know what they’re doing, because this seems downright stupid to me.
