IronChefShark
ok both NY teams have been added.Giants: I used the simple layout of the oilers alternate, and used no shoulder logo. the number on the back of the blue jersey is plain white and on the white jersey they are red w/ blue trim, just like the football jersey. FYI, I chose that player because this guy just happens to be a bay area native, and besides, the TE is a punk!Jets: this one is one of my favorites so far. I kept the feel of the "namath stripes" without actually being "namath stripes". And sorry to dash someone's hopes *cough*syphi*cough* but it bears no resemblence to the now defunct NHL team by the same name US state flag concepts

IronChefShark
yeah yeah whatever. excuse me for wanting serious feedback (not suggestions, FEEDBACK!) for onceanyways I just added two moreBears - yes I said I would not use "geo-centric" templates, but the blackhawks template used in this manner just looks so darn good. I did add the lace collar to "old school" it up a little. and Im happy with the logo placement thank you very much. I even put a GSH patch on thereSteelers - the capitals road jersey template worked wonders for this one. notice the captions by the helmets US state flag concepts
Phil
Wow. Are you some kind of robot? If so, what kind of powers you got? (Aside from x-over making.)I like the logo selection on the Bears jersey. Good work, although the GSH might get in the way of a Captain's C.Nice job with the Pittsburgh jersey. Nice cut selection. I've always wondered why the logo's only on one side of the helmet. I assume this is a covered topic, but I must've missed that thread a while back.

IronChefShark
ok after my daily matainence check and battery charging, this robot has produced and uploaded three more GIF files from his database (can you sense the irritable sarcasm?)Cardinals - oh yes, the team that most of us agree have the lamest uniforms on the planet (sorry pantone, but you probably agree on that subject). Its mostly PANTONE 194C and white, but I added the thin blue lines to the stripes in order to make it look less cheesy (uh oh, here comes bosox). even the dark jersey has the blue. and I used the arizona state flag as a shoulder logoChiefs - I promise, NO BLACK! unless you count the logo of course. its a simple striping scheme that works for this team. nothing too extremely creative on this oneRams - I fooled around with California Golden Seals shoulder stripes but then decided to go with the team Mongolia template (think flyers and devils hybrid). the font isnt accurate but its close enough to what they have. STL FANATIC
Everything looks great. Sorry I couldn't help ya with that logo. For the Rams, they use a variation of the font City I believe. I like what you did for them. It's not what I would have done, or what I still would do, but I like it. IronChefShark
just added the lone star state teamsTexans - stayed very conservative. although theyre a new team they allready have a very traditional looking uniform, so the simple logo and scheme deserved simple treatmentCowboys - ok, this jumbled mess has been well documented. so what I did was use the team Sweden template for the home uni and use the colors ROYAL BLUE and METTALIC SILVER GREEN. for the road uni I used the team Canada template and the colors NAVY BLUE and METTALIC SILVER. How authentic can you get, the home and road uni DONT MATCH! oh, for the Cowboys I originally wanted to go with a scheme using the stars template. I done it, and when I was finished I thought 'heh, thats good, but that wouldnt be worn full time'. so by default I turned that cowboys star-pattern concept into the first of the alternate jerseys! I was originally gonna make all alternates after I was finished with all 32 teams, but this alternate came via a mistake! go figure US state flag concepts
-kj
yeah yeah whatever. excuse me for wanting serious feedback (not suggestions, FEEDBACK!) for onceI'm not sure you can have feedback without suggestions. Otherwise, all you're going to get is "that sucks" or "that rules." Most feedback around this place is going to be "that's a cool concept, but what if...?" Granted, sometimes, though not in your x-over case, the proper feedback should be "Holy cripes, what were you thinking, man?!" But usually that turns into "Ok, right now it's painful, but if..."The last three sets are solid. Nothing spectacular, though it's not like any of those teams (minus the Rams) have particularly interesting unis to begin with. I'd love to see that Rams set with the proper numbers, I'm imagining it would would look pretty sweet. Buy some t-shirts and stuff at KJ Shop! GMS1122
i love em all (again), i think for the rams you should have tried vertical stripes at the shoulders like the actual NFL jersey, i dont know how it would have looked but who knows ??? TruColor
Cardinals - oh yes, the team that most of us agree have the lamest uniforms on the planet (sorry pantone, but you probably agree on that subject). I've been trying to get the team to modify them since I was 9 (1972).However, most Card fans (if I can speak for at least most of them) hate the Blue. Black has been a more traditional secondary color for decades, and is still officially listed as an official color (Blue ISN'T).If there's ever been a team that SHOULD have Black as a color, it's the Cardinals.Oh, and the striping pattern looked so much better when they DID have the Black stripes...as opposed to the current pattern. IronChefShark
AAARRRRGGGHHHHH!!!! the SLE has nothing but broken images right now! and the only reason Ive been going there is because a CERTAIN logo page has no NFL section up yet :: and yes GMS, I tried to do that striping. However I couldnt get it to look right so I gave up on it US state flag concepts
STL FANATIC
Shark, did you try the striping on the shoulders, or on the sleeves. If not on the sleeves, that might work. White jersey, thick gold stripe on sleeves and tail, underneath gold is navy. Navy jersey, thick gold stripe, thin white stripe underneath. That said, what you did works out nicely, just doesn't relate to what they got. JUSTIN STRIEBEL | PORTFOLIO | RESUME | CONTACT

IronChefShark
well because of the SLE's problems, I am only putting out one concept right now. The New England Patriots!and yes I did use my reworked Pat logo. However its a shoulder logo and Elvis is the crest. Oh well thats how I wanted it. It IS what looks better! However, I did make the alternate jersey to satisfy most of your "I think Pat should be the crest" levels of thinking. Before you go view the jerseys though, check out what I did to Pat the Patriot before putting him to use!I originally wanted to put the Saints, Eagles, and Bills out tonight as well, but those will have to wait now  US state flag concepts
IronChefShark
ok, I was able to get my hands on a saints logo, so Ive added that concept!when designing this I began to think....hmmm, the saints logo is a fleur de listhis is a HOCKEY x-over concept.....what inspiration did I get? check it out, Im sure a lot of old time hockey fans will be reminded of a certain team that used a similar logo in that fashion :: US state flag concepts
-kj
That Pat the Patriot conversion is terrific. Nice work. But, I couldn't resist pointing out that, because of the football stance he started out in, Pat looks like he should be one of the players in my league's beginner school, leaning on his stick so he doesn't fall over. Buy some t-shirts and stuff at KJ Shop! Phil
Having seen these latest ones, I have a few suggestions, to about the way you post them.Could you put a link to the latest x-overs in the post about them? That way we can see the latest one and read what you have to say about them all at the same time. The other thing is, could you put the latest ones at the end of the list? Hunting them down out of a list is annoying. That being said, great work on these latest ones...Pat the Patriot looks converted, if you know what I mean. Maybe thicker outlines would help, because you know I'm a stickler for consistency. The Saints one is fine, I like your use of the fleurs-de-lis, but the ones on the gold trim really don't need the outline. Just black fleurs-de-lis would be fine. By keeping the outline, it forces you to make them larger (so that they're still recognizable), and thereby forcing you to increase the size of the gold trim portion (which is a little big IMO).That being said, seeing your latest x-overs are always a thrill, keep 'em coming.
