Ridleylash 4,018 Posted October 16, 2020 It is indeed a practice jersey;

I think that's an orange color on that inside collar. All practice jerseys have the white collar on the outside...b Haha @Ridleylash beat me to it...

Chewbacca 404 Posted October 17, 2020 I think that is a real nice shade of blue on Colorado's practice jersey. Wouldn't surprise me if they eventually do a lighter blue jersey that's an inverse of their home jersey. I think it could look pretty decent.
habsfan1 3,968 Posted October 19, 2020 This was Photoshopped. But it's still a great visual of how beautiful the full Sabres uniform looks on a player:
M4One 1,415 Posted October 19, 2020 It's kinda weird that Mackinnon would post a picture of his gloves and saying new colours if they weren't different from the stadium series. Maybe Colorado really is going through with the plan of wearing a Nordiques throwback next season.

I thought they were inventive, and unusually avant garde for a hockey uniform. Sort of reminiscent of the idea behind the Canucks' old Flying V uniforms. I think the Avs' look would have more staying power, but only slightly. As unique as they are, I fear they would grow tiresome.
Gothamite 24,060 Posted October 19, 2020 Maybe they would grow tiresome. Maybe. But the Avs’ current logo already has. Long ago.
rorinator 97 Posted October 19, 2020 The Penguins are throwing it back to the Gin N Juice days with this leaked FOURTH jersey design. Thoughts?

Confirms the long-rumored 4th jersey program; I wonder if we'll see a lot more revised throwback/fauxback looks. Pretty good look as an alternate for the Penguins...the captain's C looks weirdly skinny.

Booo, no Robopen on the shoulder. 40 minutes ago, Gothamite said: Maybe they would grow tiresome. Maybe. But the Avs’ current logo already has. Long ago. I'd rather see them go for a Rockies-inspired look over trotting the Stadium kit out as a main look.
the admiral 28,726 Posted October 19, 2020 I love the striping but not the rest.
rorinator 97 Posted October 19, 2020 I have the same opinion, I don't think the shoulder penguins are really needed and clutter the design because of how many edges they have versus the Robopen logo. Also, I don't know if I really like road alts but they do already have a yellow and black jersey sooooo.
Ridleylash 4,018 Posted October 19, 2020 I was admittedly hoping they'd go nuts and deliver a navy+powder colored version of their current set, but that was probably too much of a departure to fall as an inversion. I just want the Robopen to be used on a modern kit, man.

It's not too far off the unused design from the '90s: Funny enough, they were trying to get the league to allow four jerseys at the time, 2 with the script & 2 with the robo penguin. The league denied, so they compromised by using one of each.
rorinator 97 Posted October 19, 2020 Yes! The baby blue and navy scarf penguin with drop-shadow numbers would be a great alt that stands out from the rest of the set while referencing their history.
