In 2020 Jimmy G will be a better option. It's really hard to tell how much of last year was on Brady, and how much was because he had next to nothing to work with. The Bucs have a better cast than the Patriots did last year. If he can't get that to work for him, he is done.

That's hard to say now, because he won't even be able to meet his teammates or practice with them at minicamps or even informally. Bringing in Tom Brady changes the whole way your team is run, because he's now essentially the OC, and things are going to be his way. It's not like the old days where it took years for players to gel, but they at least need some time together - and we don't yet know when they'll get that. Dynasty
Brady could always choose #10 as a note to his college days, but I'm pretty sure he's built a brand around #12.

Dynasty
I honestly thought he would spend his whole career in New England, but I suppose it's rare to have players in one place for an entire time. I won't miss him in the AFC East, but I actually hope he has some success in Tampa Bay. That's a market I always had a small rooting interest in. AustinFromBoston
Watch Brady make The Buccaneers the first team to play in the Super Bowl in their own stadium. Because the NFL is rigged.

Brass
Tom had his moments of wear last season, but they were seldom. Honestly, anybody throwing around the word "washed up" clearly did not watch many Patriots games last year. I hate to play that card, because it makes me sound very pompous, but as someone who watched nearly every minute of Patriot football, Tom Brady is miles upon miles ahead of where Peyton was at this point in their careers. Rooting for Tom though. He should be able to do whatever the hell he wants to do. Stay in New England? Fun! Go to Tampa? That's fine too. I mean, I really don't have an "NFC team" but I guess the Bucs it is! On 4/10/2017 at 3:05 PM, Rollins Man said: what the hell is ccslc?

Guys like Brady win games for teams before even stepping out on the field. Leadership goes a long way. There's plenty of players that have had way more natural talent than Brady, but win absolutely nothing, because they don't set an example for those around them and get them to be better than they are. Until Brady is just completely physically incapable, he's a better single-season option than just about anyone in the league. 13 minutes ago, Lights Out said: He wore a "total clown suit" for almost his entire career (outside of the occasional throwback games) until now. He seemed to be more interested in collecting a check and just flying under the radar. This is a joke, right? A guy who caught 7 TDs in one postseason, including three against your team in a NFCCG, never played in a game that actually mattered? As for Brady finally leaving the Patriots, all I can say is that on behalf of all my fellow AFC East fans who have been tormented for the last 19 years, it's time to say.... GOODBYE TOBY BRADY!!! tp49
So Brady like most people who live a long time in the northeast is going to Florida so he can retire and enjoy the lack of state income tax before he does. Good for him. 4 hours ago, SFGiants58 said: I see him joining Scientology and how that becomes a big narrative in the season. The Broncos picked up an aging Peyton Manning and went to two Super Bowls and won one. I think San Francisco really misfired on this. They were literally a Tom Brady away from a title. I disagree with this. I don't think Garrappalo is a superstar but he is better than Brady. Brady, at this point, is a slightly above average 42 years old QB. He is not the Tawmy we all hated (or revered in New England area).
