Is Thaddeus Miss really going to go undrafted?

That’s kind of surprising. Thought 1 team would take him by now.

Was hoping the Redskins would’ve taken him. They have an underwhelming TE group after Reed and Davis left. They instead decided to use their last draft pick on an unneeded DE from NC State.

I thought the cowboys would take him or mason fine, instead we got a random win from James Madison.

Roger Goddell had an interview with Trey Wingo of ESPN......and the shocking thing about the interview is that Goddell was wearing a T-Shirt.  Not a buttoned up with no tie, nor a polo, but an actual t-shirt.  Also, while making today's picks, Jerry Jones was in shorts and a buttoned up t-shirt, but untucked.  We saw Belichick with his dog, Andy Reid in his Hawaiian shirts, whatever was happening at the Vrabel household and various coaches, owners and GM's with their families, all of which made for entertainment. My local radio broadcast of the draft even spent a few minutes talking about the homes of Kingsbury, McVay and Arians.  It was craziness, but also fun to watch and be amused by.  Goddell was having a lot of fun from his basement as the draft went by with various changes in wardrobe, and relaxing on his chair.

I want to see the NBA Draft, NHL Draft and MLB Drafts do the same format, especially the NBA Draft.  Having said that, I don't know if we will see Adam Silver, Gary Bettman or Rob Manfred as relaxed as Goddell was.  I do kind of want to see what kind of home setup Gregg Popovich would have though with a stay at home NBA Draft, although it would probably be similar to Belichick, perhaps without the dog.  This is only of course, if the NBA and NHL have to postpone and their drafts are on their usual dates.

Pop would probably be at Spurs HQ with an array of 6 foot squares surrounding him. If the NBA is back playing by then I could see them all operating from their hotel rooms.

A lot of the ESPN Draft Analysts said they’d be perfectly fine with the NFL Draft proceeding forward like this. Citing that it allows coaches and other team staff to be home with their families when they normally wouldn’t be. Normally they’d be cooped up in offices, hotel rooms, etc trying to get this process done. It offers a lot of freedom while still actively and effectively getting the job done.

It would make the NBA Draft not as fun as the NFL Draft was.

Came across this since everyone is talking about his dog.

My biggest takeaway is that I swear Belichick can take anything and make it seem like he's talking about football.

"Yeah, he's smart, fast, good with his hands..er paws".

"He's real explosive, will run right up at you, has a real tight grip".

And in yet another "of course Florida" story, there was actual police at the Jaguars' coach's house during the draft, because football is more important than human life.  Were they worried some teenagers were going to cut the cable line or something?

What the absolute hell is wrong with literally everything about that state?

And another thing - how irrelevant is the whole "Mr.  Irrelevant" gimmick?  How is a guy that got drafted any less relevant than anyone that sings that wasn't drafted?  It's not only unnecessarily insulting, but doesn't even make sense considering what it's supposed to mean.  How is that still a thing in 2020?

I think teams will start looking at how much over guessing they didn't do this time and hopefully consider that in future drafts. I think you still want everyone with you in the room, but at the end of the day,I basically started following the draft on my computer because watching the commissioner trying to get people to boo him was the strangest thing I've ever seen, especially since it was a giant commercial for Budweiser who was requesting people send in clips of them booing. And as much as I hate Mel Kiper over analyzing every pick, the TomRinaldi cry porn clips and the statboards stating who died to affect each player's life were working overtime this year. This was a time when you could have been done with each day at least an hour early because we weren't dealing with a bunch of weird trade rumors until the moment they were announced. But ESPN made sure they filled the entire time slot. That's something I don't think we need in baseball, because we don't see the majority of the players chosen throughout a season like we do in basketball and football.

So are the Steelers really confident that they can go into the season with Mason Rudolph and Duck Hodges as backup for Big Ben?  Same with the Lions under Stafford?

I'm surprised they didn't go for Eason or Fromm. I know they aren't the same as Big Ben but they can't be any worse than Duck at a minimum. I also laugh at the idea that the Packers shouldn't plan for life without Aaron Rogers. I think they would have been better off to grab a OL or WR instead of Love, but if he's there and you rate him highly, go ahead and take him because he won't be there in Round 2. And who's to say they still can't fix their issues with a free agent? Everyone seemed to be freaking out over that. We didn't really see that same level of surprise when Buffalo picked up Fromm though. Baltimore got even more dangerous with Dobbins in the backfield. He's probably #2 but if Ingram gets injured he'll be able to step right in.

Marketing, because they will still get small prizes here and there that pick 250 won't.
