nbitterman 27 Posted January 23, 2020 Here is my version of an update to the Bucs uniforms. A direction that combines traditional and modern concepts that embraces the historical Bucs looks with some adjustments that are consistent with the current branding. No more glowing alarm clock numbers, pewter shoulders or over-sized logos. Hope you enjoy!, Nate Red Combos White Combos Alternates (In compliance with NFL helmet rule)
Dan O'Mac 492 Posted January 23, 2020 The Orange with the Pewter helmet just doesn't work for me. Personally, I'd love to see the Bucs move to a white helmet again. They can then use either the new logo or the throwback.

Then they can use the creamsicles and not look out of place, and even slap the throwback logo on the side for those games.
Jay_Mellowed 395 Posted January 24, 2020 I would flip the usage of white and pewter in the numerals on the home jersey.
AnthPollock- 23 Posted January 29, 2020 I never was a fan of the oversized logo on helmets.

Also replace the silver with white on the helmet. Maybe try a red facemask?

SNBSlugger 152 Posted January 30, 2020 Love everything except the number 5.
nbitterman 27 Posted January 30, 2020 The goal with the numbers was to try and keep a bit of consistency with the current word mark, while giving a more traditional foundation. Although they aren't fully traditional numbers, I think it's a substantial upgrade from the alarm clock numbers.... Then again, probably anything would be an upgrade from those. Might end up tweaking these a bit over time, so suggestions welcome as always! Numerical Font
_DietDrPepper_ 4,161 Posted January 30, 2020 I think some tweaks to the numbers 3 and 5 are the only thing holding this back. In general I would scale down a lot of the steepness of the edges on these numbers, maybe flattening some edges to resemble more of a block font. I really like this set outside of this little gripe

I’d rather see the middle of the 5 come halfway down and straight across, making two 90° angles.
nbitterman 27 Posted February 4, 2020 Great feedback on the numbers! I know some of them are a little funky looking, but that's the challenge in trying to make them unique. I'll upload some tweaks to those in the coming week along with some other things I'm playing around with.
