beachperroAZ
https://www.kansascity.com/sports/spt-columns-blogs/vahe-gregorian/article60120616.html Bedridden and on feeding tube, former Chiefs great Otis Taylor is cared for by loving sister I had just got done watching his Super Bowl IV highlights in preparation for the super bowl this Sunday. It is pretty sad what has happened to him since his career ended.
Red Comet
I can't say I'm surprised. I remember back in 2004, I saw him at a book-signing at a local Border's. It took him about 10 minutes to walk across the room from the door and his gait was unsteady throughout said walk. He had to use a stamp to sign the books as he no longer had the motor control to sign...well anything. The game had clearly ravaged his body and probably his mind too. If anything, I'm more surprised he's held on this long.
Gothamite
At some point, we're going to have to face the reality of what the sport we love does to the men who play it. As someone who loves the game, it's getting harder and harder to love the game. The Green Bay Packers Uniform Database! Now in a handy blog. However, in the past 5 or 6 years, I have gone from being in love with the sport to just liking it a lot.
