I like your work I just think you need to change it up a bit every now and then. Maybe try some logos without the hockey stick. Just experiment a little. I had to do that severtime because I would always limit my jersey designs and they all look the same with slight tweaks and color changes Athletic Director: KTU Blue Grassers Football

DEAD!
Hey, at least now they have logos. In the beginning of the NBDL, all teams had the same NBDL logo with the team name and colours being the only thing to distinguish the teams. I saw, I came, I left. swisherHOU
I guess they went for consistency. Either be consistent across the board or have everything obviously different, I learned that in Design Communications 101.

Gordie
Flynn, I agree with Joel, you don't have to defend yourself to anyone here. I'm curious about how you've become so prolific lately. Is it a word-of-mouth thing in the hockey community, a good reputation, that helps you get jobs? When it comes to designing for Junior teams, (and lord knows a lot of them need new designs) do they approach you for help, or do you contact them with a proposal? -kj
Through its first couple of season, the NBDL teams didn't have logos at all. The wordmark observation isn't a new one at all, and I'm certain it wasn't accidental in the least. Buy some t-shirts and stuff at KJ Shop! slapshot
I remember the NBDL logos and they did all have the same font. It must have been an NBA in-house thing. The league is mostly about developing players, sort of like a minor league, but I'm guessing merchandising wasn't its first priority. I suppose this way, instead of paying outside designers to work on each teams individuality, they saved money by keeping everything in-house with the same font but different logos. No team can complain about having worse wordmarks than their league-mates.
