Dilbert
If the Padres hang on to win tonight it will mean all 7 central division teams will be eliminated in the wild card round. The only series that didnt have a central team was Tampa Bay and Toronto. It will also set up a true divisional series as it will have the A's vs Astros, Rays vs Yankees, Braves vs Marlins, and Dodgers vs Padres Signature intentionally left blank
TheBigFiz21
Cubs have really struggled to make a deep run since winning it all 4 years ago. Only one series victory in their 3 postseason appearances since then.
AustinFromBoston
I have to admit, I do like the expanded playoffs. Adds a lot more variety and makes things so much more unpredictable. …I say that, and yet I have a my gut tells me we're getting a Yankees- Astros ALCS, and a Yankees - Dodgers World Series. Personally I'd love to see Rays vs A's ALCS & Padres- Marlins NLCS, either World Series matchup would be awesome.

sky1324
I'd love to see the Rays make it so I can make jokes about them making the World Series and fans still not showing up. the user formerly known as cdclt

Only one series victory in their 3 postseason appearances since then. Baez, Bryant, and Rizzo collectively 0fered both games. Schwarber, too, maybe. This seems to be a trend with the Cubs' core: when they lose, they don't lose a hard-fought, knock-down-drag-out affair, they just completely crap themselves and accomplish absolutely nothing. You saw it when they were swept by the Mets, the gentleman's sweep to the Dodgers, and the one-offs in 2018. These guys are losers who won a historically weak NL and would have blown it to the Indians if they didn't save their manager from himself. Whatever "it" is, they don't have it. ♫ oh yeah, board goes on, long after the thrill of postin' is gone ♫

Dynasty
The TBS score bug is too small. They crammed too much stuff together and it's hard to see without getting close to the screen.
FiddySicks
It’s going to be so hilarious when the Astros beat the Dodgers in the World Series again this year. JayMac
I think it's funny that, even with 16 teams in the mix this postseason, we will probably still get the Dodgers and Astros in the WS.

Really it's just their colors & uniforms I really like, One of the more unique ones in baseball. Pluss Moneyball was a fun movie I guess But I fully expected Houston to pull a 180 after looking like trash in the regular season, because The A's winning would be fun. Marlins93
Although I couldn't be more delighted to see the Marlins play October baseball for the first time since 2003, I still detest this playoffs format. Way too many teams. People like to say that anything happens in October but there haven't been many surprises so far. The league championship series teams will pretty much be the ones you would have expected, aside from perhaps the Astros going a little deeper. Five teams per league (including two WC spots) are plenty. I'd hate to see Manfred expand it more than that although I'm sure he will due to the extra revenue it would bring. I haven't been too bothered by the NL DH, although it does feel like we're losing out on some strategic maneuvering that I've always enjoyed. The three batter minimum rule needs to go away, though.
