Kramerica Industries 1,991 Posted October 19, 2020 I'm not sure what it says about the Braves or what, but even when they were up 3-1 in this series, even when they then led in Game 5, I never for one moment thought they were going to win this series.
TrueYankee26 1,134 Posted October 19, 2020 (edited) Dodgers have waited 32 years since their last WS title Rays never won in 22 years of existence 54 years of frustration combined. Edited October 19, 2020 by TrueYankee26 fixed dumb typo

FiddySicks 11,206 Posted October 19, 2020 Atlanta really doesn’t deserve pro sports teams. Go Rays, but the Dodgers are gonna absolutely wax them. This one isn’t going more than 4. 2020.

This is almost as bad as having the Florida Panthers in the Stanley Cup final or the New Orleans Pelicans in the NBA final.

I mean, people care about the Rays; it's just that the Trop is a dilapidated :censored:hole of a dome that's an inconvenient travel destination for like 95% of the fanbase. It's the same reason the Coyotes have struggled at Gila River even with good teams; nobody wants to spend a good chunk of their day just driving to and from a stadium that's already not that pleasant just to watch a game. I can't say the same for the Senators because their issues are multifold; the arena in Kanata doesn't help, but their main issue is ownership, not location.
DEAD! 2,053 Posted October 19, 2020 If Rays win... would that stop all the talk about Montreal?

So it's still possible that the team that moved from Montreal wins the World Series one year, then another team considering playing in Montreal winning the next year?

It's true that they won titles in 81 and 88, over 30 years ago. But this current era Dodgers roster still has no title.
