Logos I created for a league with the "Outrun" aesthetic, where everything is about neon. retrofuturistic 80's, and synthwave.

Hong Kong Clash

 

I was thinking the sport can be football, but any sport could work I guess.

 

If anyone wants to expand on these ideas (uniforms) or improve them, go ahead.

I think auto racing fits the aesthetic more than football, but that’s just my take. Races have to take place on closed streets courses at night, like the Miami Grand Prix circuit.

I think you need to create your own fictional sport.  Maybe a Mad-Max/Cannonball Run/Death Race 2000 baseline, but where there's a ball somehow in the mix and scoring.  It doesn't need to make much sense, just be plausible enough to be the basis for slapping logos on stuff and driver uniforms and vehicle designs.  Just think of it as a way to create interesting shapes upon which to place logos and stripes and other sporty elements.  I think all the vehicles should be vector-based, like the tanks in Battlezone.

I've always wanted a team sport played under black light, like night bowling.  These concepts could work for that.
