I'm just glad that GOOD soccer is coming back...

Even putting aside the dig at MLS, you are aware that the Bundesliga has already restarted right?

Alright, time for some clarification...

When I said that, the thought process was about the fact that ESPN2 had soccer from Costa Rica last night. To me, even MLS is better then this.

The Northwoods League will have three teams competing in Bismarck, incuding a team 'on loan' from Thunder Bay due to travel restrictions. It is mentioned that other cities may do the same.

The Thunder Bay team 'loaned team' will be the Bismark Flickertails.
Here's the logos and schedule for the 3 Bismark teams.

Probably not, given MLS is ~26 hours away from locking the players out.

Garber needs to go. He's constantly getting egg on his face, then wipes it off and pretends what happened was what he wanted anyways. He's the Doofenschmirtz version of the Emperor.

So what's the deal that MLS has offered to the players?  And didn't they just sign a new CBA?

The CBA hadn't officially been signed which is why the owners wanted to add a force majuere clause. They could pull out of the deal if 5 teams had an attendance loss of 25% for 5 teams, which would likely occur this year depending on a second wave of mass infection. I'm sure if that happened, California, Oregon and Washington would probably close up shop again and there's your 5 teams right there.

BIG3 basketball announced a few weeks ago that their 2020 season would be cancelled.... The Basketball Tournament however will still go on this summer in a one location tournament, which I believe will have less teams participating than it usually does.

MMA promotion Professional Fighters League also announced their 2020 season/tournament has been cancelled.

I’m sure this will turn out well.

If any team other than the Lakers win this, there's a giant asterisk on the whole tournament.

No. The Lakers were the best team at the end of the season. And as a LeBron stan, if he doesn't win this year's title it means the whole system was flawed. If he does win, it means he overcame incredible odds to show his greatness. That's how these things work.

Bucks were undeniably the best team the entire season.

Plus if Lakers do win, people are going to say it was rigged for Kobe.
