If I had to guess, the Rams will do something Bill-ish. They'll model it after the blue and yellow Dickerson days, and like the Bills did with their then-70s now-retro look, throw in a few boring wrinkles to complete the set. Maybe a gray facemask. Maybe some extra outlines, and outta nowhere color like navy. In the end, we'll just be like "Yea. Good enough."

If they limit their "updates" to what the Bills did, I would call that a huge win.

While I like the direction Buffalo went in, there were a handful of missteps with their rebrand -- Pointless grey facemask. Navy trim. Poor striping. No blue pants, at first.

The biggest thing for me is the white helmet. I know it's been used before, and it's not a bad look at all, but it just doesn't work for the Bills IMO. There's just something about the bills going R/B/W at home that just screams Buffalo Bills to me.

Gotta disagree. The buffalo logo pops way more on the white helmets than it ever did on the reds. Maybe if the Bills went with navy blue instead of royal it would've looked better to me. Royal blue and red does not offer much contrast from each other.

i don't believe contrast is the word you are looking forFred_Jackson_NY_Jets_vs._Buffalo,_Oct_20

I'm sorry to have to show this abomination of a uniform to prove my point but that logo really does pop off that helmet, and creates a much more unique look than just another white helmet in a league with too many, and a division with 2 white helmets and a silver helmet already.

At some point, likely after another decade of losing, the Bills will revert back to the red lids.

I wouldn't oppose it, just as long as they don't fvck it all to hell this time...

I don't think that's true at all. The red stripe blends in with and disappears into the red background. A red and blue logo will always stand out more against a white helmet.

I understand preferring the red helmet for its nostalgia value, or even on aesthetic grounds. But because the logo "pops"?  No.

Not a fan of changing the raiders at all. I wouldn't be mad if I saw something like this rams concept out there in the near future. (not my image)

I don't hate this look for the Rams.  I can't say the same for that Raiders uniform.

Really wish they went with single-color numbers.  The helmet logo doesn't have (or need) an outline, and neither do the numbers.  They could have used solid white on the blue, and either red or blue on the white.  Would have made for a "stronger" look IMO.

I think they did it the way they did so they would match the sleeve stripes, which to me complete the look. Single colored numbers would look good too, but I like the outlined numbers better because they match.

The single-color numbers on the old Browns and old/current Steelers uniforms serve to accentuate the stripes due to the contrast, and make for a strong / bold look IMO.  THere's nothing wrong with matching, but sometimes a lot can be gained by not matching.  The reverse isn't true though - super fancy numbers with really plain (or non existent) stripes doesn't work for me.

Actually, the color pattern of the numbers and stripes only match on the blue jersey... both are white, bordered by red, bordered by navy on a royal background.  it all matches and look good.  However on the white jersey, they screwed it up...

Here the numbers are royal, bordered by red bordered by navy, and the stripes are royal bordered by navy, bordered by red.  I know its a small thing, but it drives me crazy... and I can't for the life of me see why it was done this way.  They obviously gave it thought on the blue jersey... why not repeat the pattern on the white?

I'd like to see this fixed... reverse the colors on the number outlines to match the stripes.  Or on the other hand, I  might just agree with BBTV... single color number would work fine.  I've had a rebirth of my appreciation of single color numbers in the past few years.  Probably because how awesome it looks on the Vikings' new uniform, but also Green Bay, Pittsburgh, San Fran... a great classic "tough" look IMO.

By the way, this thread has officially been Buffajacked.

Then I'll guess I take this back to LA with another manip. This time with blue socks.

I agree on the Bills numbers though. When it's inconsistent, it's "some people want to watch the world burn" level annoyance.

Nah, I don't like it. I don't see the point of Colorado Stating the helmet and legs but not the jersey.

The Steelers use yellow pants and thick yellow stripes on the jerseys. The Browns (pre clown era) had orange helmets along with orange on the stripes.  Both teams' home and road sets prominently featured the secondary color. Not so with three Bills. This set could be cleaned up and greatly improved by removing the navy.

I sat on the phone after calling the Nike customer service line at 18008066453 and finally got through to a rep who could help me about what to purchase. He told me to hang tight and that new LA Rams merchandise would be available in April. When I asked about jerseys specifically he repeated his answer.

I think the Rams concept has some interesting possibilities. I love the shoulder treatment and would say use that, instead of the dashes on the helmet/pant. And, I think being that this is for LA, the matte isn't the right look. Regular, gloss helmet and possibly make the tone on tone look of the rams motif in the stripes have a gloss or spot varnish look to glitz it up without being too glam.
