And that’s why I love the Rams head. Kind of an update of the first one.

Yeah for as memorable as the last iteration was, it really doesn't look anything like a ram. It's like they needed to form one around the existing helmet horns and it ended up a little too cartoony

Does this count towards us taking shots for the painting? Or does the edited horn change it enough?

Ah hell, I’m a college kid in quarantine, I’m taking a shot

The top one is actually a modified version of a concept posted on here over a year. It's so simple that it works.

The problem I have with the Rams LA logo is that there's two different versions to use on a white background.

The second one I posted is the much better one. This logo needs the gradient for it to work.

If the blue outline one was the primary for on-white applications I'd be ok.

They're accent colors on the logo.  Nearly a third of the league has accent colors that don't feature elsewhere on the uniforms, but that nonetheless have to be included in the logo slicks.

...and this one too, sadly.

Where's the accent color for the Vikings? And the Titans?

Vikings - flesh tone

Titans - red since it’s no longer on the uniforms aside from the swoosh

The new Ram head blows the STL one out of the water. I really hope they lean toward it as the primary look over the LA mark. I know I have, and I dug the LA logo. I think simply swapping their designation fixes a lot of people’s misgivings about this rebrand.

Maybe not on a technical level, but on the eye test level. The Ram head is clearly the primary, and the LA horn is clearly a secondary. They reveal it that way and I don’t think you hear as much negativity.

ram GIF  =  Looking National Football League GIF by Los Angeles Rams It's amazing how these so called graphic artists screw most uncomplicated logo up. They look like the Chargers more and more each day.

This is the jersey that got away from me in 2009 (block letters were different). These are beautiful.

Same, I just wish they had outlined the L and dropped the little shadow parts, like so:

Seeing that hat makes me wonder though, would it help if the horn had another dividing segment? Basically break up that crescent moon vibe and add to the "knobby/twisting" nature of it?

I think the opposite is needed, drop all dividing segments and gradients

This is buggin me. Why does the Rams Royal look purple at times and other times a royal blue.

it comes up in color picker as Egyptian Blue which has a purplish hue. 1E22AA

Probably because you have people who are bringing the files into their own design programs and they don't have their color profiles set up correctly, and then when they save them out there is a slight color shift as a result.

That segmented horn is really going to ruin the helmet.
