Perfectly acceptable to use We in the context you used it. No one other than him thought you were "speaking for them". It's just a post on a sports message board. You're fine. I think every year with a few updates has proven to be about 50/50. The league (in general) has shown that they don't have perfect design judgment and I've learned to expect a few duds, like the Rams new logos. Gray really hasn't been a substantial color in their new logo/wordmark package. It might be a fashion jersey. Maybe he saw something on one of those fake Chinese sites selling jerseys for $20 Smart is believing half of what you hear. Genius is knowing which half. I acknowledge that light, non-white uniforms have been used previously as "away" uniforms. But it's been alternate jerseys. (Patriots' silver jerseys and Saints' gold jerseys come to mind.) Based on the underwhelming response to the Falcons new unis, it sounds like the Rams are really going to screw this up.
