The powder blue and white jerseys in that vid look good, but that royal blue looks very Rams-ish.

Apparently, this whole time some people have been talking about how the rams look like the chargers, but with the news that the Rams are going to be full of gradients and off white, it might be the other way around. The chargers might look more like the rams than the rams.

Just do co-authorship. BASS is a peer-reviewed publication, yes?

We may need a ruling. The exchange took place via a text group that is not officially sanctioned by Basically a Podcast Network.

They had to pay Rap and Schefter to help unveil these right? I mean they have been hyping them up like crazy. No other team is getting this treatment.

Overall it's another upgrade. It's weird that they simplified the whole uniform, but made the helmet more cluttered.

Can't help but wish the navy color rush had a navy helmet. Hopefully we'll see that next season. The white just looks out of place.

Chargers has had major issues getting attention from the NFL let alone Los angeles....The sparks are more popular than them in the county of Los angeles.....in two year time they could be on their way back to San Diego  or elsewhere if they can't get any buzz in Los Angeles...but I digress ...The unis are awesome

Good look at it actually on someone's body:

Still had room to include tv numbers on the sleeves...hopefully down the road they tweak it to ...could use a solid background stripe in the bolt to make it pop more ,..but it is still a excellent template

And a couple good looks at Bosa’s powder blue jersey:

I’m excited to actually see these on the field. The more I see of this particular color combo, the less sure I am how much I actually like them. I like the idea of powder and gold, but something feels sort of off about this set. It almost feels like it’s going to look sort of washed out. I’m hoping the lighting makes a big difference, because if not, I think I actually might miss the navy a bit.

The original chargers always looked sort of sort of washed out to me, too. But I always just assumed that older technology for equipment and just overall age caused some of that. Now I’m starting to think it may just be the color combination that’s the issue. The blue needs to be a bit richer, in a sense? Maybe somewhere between the powder and the royal they’re doubling up on.

So there officially is room for  home/road/alt/color rush, 4 sets?  (Therefore room for orange Browns alts.)

I pretty much love these apart from the royal seeming unnecessary and too close to the rams.  Love the decluttering with removing navy.  Not sure about bolts without surrounding stripes, but I think it works - it's a simplification but seems like a real change.  A real fix for them, they haven't looked great since switching to powder blue - too many shades of blue at once.

Interesting pandora's box opened on two fronts with regard to the helmets: numbers seem fine, there has always been too much space beneath the bolt. But now we have official alternate helmets with alternate decals both for the alt and color rush.  Has that been before, other than for actual throwbacks?

I'll have to see more pictures of actual players in the uniforms, but overall really pleased with this new Chargers set. The home and away's are fantastic in my opinion and the alternates work for what they are despite them being monochrome. There seems to be a split on the numbers on the side of the helmet, but I think they're pretty cool. Also think the font is much better.

All in all a vast improvement over their entire navy blue, powder blue hybrid experiment.
