I think these are actually fairly decent. I love the new colors and helmet, despite the segmented horn. They should have filled that in with one of the extra colors they have on their primary logo. They have some tackiness about them, especially with the Rams patch and the gradient numbers. But I actually don’t mind the numbers. It’s 2020, not 1970, so pushing the envelope little bit is ok. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn’t. If they changed the gradient numbers, great. If not, I can live with them. Sure the Rams are and old team, but they’ve never felt that old and traditional to me. And for many fans in LA, they are a new team. They grew up without any football team, and now they have two. I get that this is not at all what everyone expected, with the Rams trying to update their look, but the previous royal blue throwback/home look needed work too. The fact that white was only present on the NOBs is a little weird. And not in a good way. By far, the worst part of this set is the bone jerseys. The biggest issue with them, is the tint of the bone, mixed with white stripes on the other bone elements. The bone is far too grey, and needs to be a little more yellow, to be creamier. They can still call it bone, but as we’ve seen with Oregon State, cream jerseys and elements can work. But all white elements throughout the entire uniform should be cream then, like the chinstrap, stripes, etc. Almost any combo in their blue jerseys looks great. The bone pants (What a terrible oversight ) are obviously the only one that isn’t great. But blue over blue looks good, and their best is blue over yellow. So these Rams uniforms are far from the worst in the league or history. We still have the piping-ridden Cardinals, the weird 2000s Bengals, and even the armpit-paneled Titans. (Who just need to ditch the armpit panels for a better look.) "And those who know Your Name put their trust in You, for You, O Lord, have not forsaken those who seek You." I hated the Rams uniforms when I was a kid in the 80s/90s so I have no nostalgic allegiance to them. But, IMO, there is nothing about the current uniforms that are better than this look. The only argument that I may even try to give is the blue color is better now but I'm not even sure of that. You put that uniform on today's template, similar to what they did with the throwback (sans toilet bowl collar), and you have a winner.

The_Admiral
The shades of blue and gold the Rams use now are the best they've ever used. They nailed the macroest of the macro. From there they proceeded to get almost every possible detail wrong. They even got things wrong that didn't exist before to get wrong, like a contrast-stitched nametag patch in variable shades of white. ♫ oh yeah, board goes on, long after the thrill of postin' is gone ♫

No I didn't, I'm just saying if that picture was taken today with the same teams, you'd see a lot more variety in number fonts and pants color. You and @AFirestormToPurify are both right. Not much would be changed except for number font and designs. However, the color combinations between jerseys and pants would largely be unchanged. I could see the Bengals opting for all black while the Jets would use a green jersey and the Dolphins go with a white jersey. That’s about it. Rams? And is this a Bengals player on the upper right? They wear black pants pretty often, no?

In a very, very, small vacuum of things, one (unfortunately me in this case) could argue that the current Rams look isn’t a drastic departure from the look presented in the photo. However, I agree there would be a noticeable difference.

Rockstar Matt
The only thing the Rams got right are the colors (although the yellow could go a shade or two darker). That blue is incredibly vibrant and beautiful. Everything is else is garbage. The gradient numbers are trash (though I don’t mind the font if you insist on having a non-traditional number font), the stupid chest patch is minor league at best, the segmented horn on the helmet is probably the only redeeming uniform detail of the rebrand in the long term in that it’s better suited for the modern helmet (but it’s still difficult to see the Rams stray away from a design they’ve worn since the 40’s) and the bone jersey/pants are plain atrocious. Burn them. There’s nothing redeeming about those. They muddy up the uniform and dull the color scheme as a whole for no good reason other than to be unique. White would look far better, and provide a sharper contrast and cleaner look for their awesome color scheme. The Rams are one of the league’s oldest teams and they should dress like it. They’ve been around since the 30’s but are dressed like an expansion team from the 2010’s. More often than not it’s a constant circle of- “These uniforms suck.” “No, they don’t. Actually I think-“ ”I SAID THEY SUCK. THEY DON’T LOOK LIKE THE RAMS OF THE 70s, 80s or 90s SO OBVIOUSLY THESE AREN’T THE REAL RAMS” Are these uniforms great? No, but it’s nauseating going into this thread and it’s largely “EVERYTHING SUCKS” and a very tiny bit of “...uhh, I like these”. I mean obviously opinions are opinions, but good grief. I’ve never seen so much rabid discourse about a uniform set.
