Mets - Pretty much what I expected to Mets to look like had they adopted alternate uniforms during those seasons.  I like the orange jerseys, especially the 63-77 version.  Good job on the 2020 fauxback that combines elements of the 80s racing stripes and the late 90s/2000s BFBS uniforms.  Would look better if the pants had matching racing stripes but the Mets don't racing stripes on their current uniforms.

Athletics -  Good job on the Athletics.  I'd figured that they would one of the harder teams to create alternate jerseys as they had actually worn alternate jerseys during most of the 70s and 80s.  I ;ike the 68 & 69-71 green jerseys.  The 93-2010 jersey is also cool.  I agree that kelly green works better with black than forest green did regarding the black jersey.  I hated the original black jersey the A's wore in 2000 as black and darker shades (like forest green) don't mesh very well.

Phillies - I like the addition of powder blue on the 73-91 maroon jersey as the Phillies wore powder blue those years (except 89-91, when they went back to gray).  The red 92-present jersey is what I expected a Phillies alternate jersey would look like.  The blue road jersey is also well-done.

Thanks! And thanks again for your support!

Up today are the Pittsburgh Pirates!

I've always been a sucker for the red tinged Pirates.

Same here. Some team needs to use black, yellow and gold.

All of the Padres look great.

The tri-color is just plaint classic.

The orange one makes me wish  they'd actually worn it.

The one year wonder blue and gold... That was such a terrific might have been. It was so fresh when it was here but then it was gone too soon.

Thanks! Which orange one are you referring to, the '85-90 or the '91-03?

I've worked up a few traditional gray/sand road sets for the '70s and '80s Padres that never had them:

I've also added a '79-84 orange alt, based on the interesting Cooperstown Collection fashion jersey I found. I went back and added it to my previous post, too.

Wonderful!  Just Wonderful!  Great job on both the Pirates and Padres.

Pirates - I really love the 63-69 gold sleeve alternate.  It looked like something the Pirates could had wore in the 2000s instead of that awful red alternate jersey they actually wore (even the Cubs would look better in a red alternate jersey than the the Pirates).  The mustard colored 70-75 jersey is also neat.  I also liked the 1985-1990 black alternate jersey. The 1997-2005 gold jersey is spectacular.  I always did like the Pirates 1997-2005 black alternate which kept the use of red to a minimal. By the way, you forgot the 1991-1996 Pirate uniforms, but I'd figure that they would be a buttoned-down version of your 1985-1990 concept.

Padres - So much to digest.  I liked the 74-77 gold jersey and the 79-84 alts (both gold and orange versions).  I really like your execution on the orange 1985-1990 alternate.  That one might be my favorite of your Padres concepts.  I also liked the 85-90 brown jersey as well as the 91-03 orange alternate. The sand/gray versions of the Padres looks of the 70s-mid 80s are great, especially the 1978 version.  The 2016 gold alternate is also well-down an saves from Padres from being a hoo-hum boring navy blue team (although the navy blue/yellow gold scheme looked better for the Brewers).  Would more gold worked on their boring road uniforms from that period?

Keep up the great work!

No, you're right, I glossed over the '91-96 Pirates for some reason. Here's what I came up with:

GIANTS ROAD ALT (2003-09)

I had trouble coming up with ideas for those last few Giants designs, so for the home set I thought it might be fun to just flip the colors on the "GIANTS" script.

C&C appreciated! The Mariners will be up soon.

On page 2, you had the Angels alts, and the Angels actually had this as an alternate (still...great jersey...great thread):

Edit: you changed it from the navy to the red alternate (again, fantastic).

The gold 90s Astros jersey is phenomenal.

Needless to say, you're doing great work. I like all of them.

Thank you for adding the 91-96 Pirates.  I really liked how those turned out.

Giants - Great job on them.  I liked the 63-77 alternates, the 77-82 gray, the 83-93 orange alt and the 94-99 black alt the best.  I wasn't really expecting anything from their 77-82 pullover period since they actually wore a black jersey and an orange jersey.  I do like that rarely-used script the Giants used from 1994-99 though I understand why they would shy away from it (although that font is distinct enough from the cursive font the Dodgers use).

Mariners - Like the gold alternate on the 1977-1980 look.  Ditto for the 1987-1992 look.

Pilots - Blue jersey is solid.  Didn't expect to see a red jersey for team that used only blue/athletic gold (plus powder blue if it counts).  Nice job.

Oh definitely. The blue top could certainly be worn at home, but I figured I should designate at least one alternate as the away option.

Up tonight are the St. Louis Cardinals. The Cards have maintained a fairly consistent look over the years, so the alternates reflect the switch from a pullover design in the '70s back to the traditional button down style in the early '90s.
