I would love to see the Kings own the checkerboard...

As for the Sixers, a Boathouse Row themed city jersey is pretty awesome

Checkered pattern is very underutilized and i agree the Kings should adopt it and embrace a Chess theme of Kings.

I didnt really ever connect this for some reason, but the concepts are flowing through my head and I think theres a loooooooot of potential there... This logo is a great starting point.

There is no better way to honor your colorful past by making a black jersey...

Anyway at least for now 10 out of 30 'City' uniforms are black (I count all leaks and add 76ers).

BTW Terrence Ross confirmed white-orange jersey for Magic:

Well in the Kings’ defense, black was their primary road uniform color for nearly a decade. It’s not that far-fetched for them to wear it.

Now that said, I will say that “Sactown” is an awful nickname that shouldn’t be on any of thier uniforms (and neither should “SAC”). But I have no problem with them wearing black, and to be honest, outside of the nickname I kind of like everything else about this set. It’s a decent blend of eras.

I think I prefer the blue side panel to the white, but other than that I agree.

10000% agree. The blue side panels are waaaay better than white.

Edit: check out the back, sides and the shorts to the Bulls City uniform!

I won't get the jersey but definitely will get them shorts.

You mean a third, of course including the nike patch.

Cant think of a way that this can be tastefully done(accepting of course, the premise that adverts can be done tastefully at all).

I'd rather see them add ads to the floor before another one on the jersey.

Honestly, I am just counting the days until NBA jerseys look like this:

Agreed on preferring to see more ads on the floor first.

As for the jersey...maybe this?

Or i guess it could be a switch of the logo to below the NBA logo and the player name to below the #? Either way, I'm saddened, as ever.

One could argue that the BLM-related slogans featured in the bubble also served as a test run for using additional jersey real estate for messaging.

I don't hate the mock up above. I'd like for the league to have rules about colors, though, e.g., logos must be in a horizontal lockup, monochromatic in the same color as the NOB, etc.

These remind me of a knockoff UNC alternate that they just pawned off on Chicago by changing colors.

It is still weird to me that kids go above and beyond to secure the ad patches for jerseys. Like, I'm talking about them paying extra to add the patches to swingman and authentic jerseys. I get it if you were collecting game-worn jerseys. But to add them on to swingmans? JFC

Adding a 2nd patch is hilarious to me.

As a European I should get to used it with multiple ads on unifirms or court but NBA unis don't fit for thus, they not designed in that way so a big no for 2nd ad.

Thats better idea but depend how this ads would look. If they will be in European style (giants stickers all over a floor) then is not only ugly but also dangerous for players (stickers are slick and might cause injuries) so with that ads on unis gonna be less harmful. Small stickers on sidelines like today for non national tv games are ok.
