The New ERBA (8/25: Last Country: Northern Ireland)

RevNet

Recommended Posts

I have some personal stuff going on tomorrow, so I might post two countries today. If I do post a country tomorrow, it'll be towards the evening.

Today, we head to Luxembourg for their uniform sets. First, as always, is the league logo:

zZ5mjTP.png

Both of Luxembourg's numbers are 4; therefore, Luxembourg gets 4 clubs. Here are the uniform sets for those four clubs:

Today's destination is Wales. As you may have seen by the second post in this thread, like the UEFA, the ERBA does consider the countries of the United Kingdom as four separate countries. First, as always, is the league logo:

Both of Wales's numbers are 4; therefore, Wales gets 4 clubs. Here are the uniform sets for those four clubs:

These look to me like old school soccer concepts (ya know, without the sponsors)

Also you can desaturate the shorts (Ctrl+Shift+U in Photoshop, don't remember GIMP) so they won't show up blue

If you read on the card you'll be cheating on your heart.

^Thanks for the advice, Bomba. Although I used Affinity Designer for these uniforms, so I'm not sure if there is a desaturate option in AD.

You can think of these roller bowling clubs that are getting these uniforms as rewards to their respective (or parent) European soccer teams for their performances in their own respective countries' competitions and/or UEFA competitions. There are no sponsors or manufacturer's marks on these uniforms because I wanted these unis to be about the designs, rather than anything that would distract from the designs, other than the teams' logos, the numbers, and the nameplates.

As for today's country, we are going to Belgium. First, as always, is the league logo:

Today's country is Latvia. As mentioned previously, the Baltic countries of Latvia, Estonia, and Lithuania shared a franchise team called the Baltic Alliance Javelins, and Latvia's capital of Riga, due to being the most populated city and also being centrally located within the Baltics, was considered the primary home base for the franchise. Now, though, like the other Baltic countries, Latvia will have its own league.

As always, first is the league logo:

Both of Latvia's numbers are 4; therefore, Latvia gets 4 clubs. Here are the uniform sets for those four clubs:

Now, we come to the Republic of Ireland (ROI from here on out), where I'm going to do a lot of explaining. First, I'm going to tell you why these teams' uniform sets will look somewhat different. It is because Gaelic football, not soccer, is the most popular sport in the ROI. Therefore, these club won't be an extension of a particular respective soccer clubs like those before and after this post. I'll explain more in this post, but for now, as always, here is the league logo:

5pCMzlg.png

Both of ROI's numbers are 4. Therefore, ROI gets 4 clubs. Now, in Gaelic football and other sports administered by the GAA, there are four provincial councils that represent each of the four provinces of the ROI. (There is a fifth GAA council, but that one represents Britain, so I don't count that one here.) These clubs whose uniforms you'll see below represent the four provinces of the ROI.

I say all of that to say: Here are the uniform sets for those four clubs:

Leinster RBC:
