Red Comet
The Falcons are the anti-Chiefs. Give the Chiefs a 20 point deficit and Mahomes can pull a rabbit out of another dimension to win the game. Give the Falcons a 20 point lead and they do everything they can to give it back. Red Comet
On a personal anecdote, I find that trying to not be a massive prick since the Chiefs won the Super Bowl is actually harder than dealing with playoff failure. Please let me know if I personally go too far.

dont care
I wouldn’t blame the turf. Injuries are unusually high across the league. This is just showing that the players need full off seasons (preseason included) to get their bodies use game speed and prevent injuries.

Yeah Harry was great in college and is pretty physically gifted, but it’s really nothing in comparison to Metcalf. That guy is an absolute monster of a human being. tBBP
I tell you what, though...Gardner Minshew ain't trying to have no piece of Trevor Lawrence in Jacksonville next season. That was a darned good game between two teams who are now more similar than they are different. The one thing I'm seeing with all these young Jaguars players--and really the whole team--is that they seem to really be playing for Minshew. I know it's just two games, but the thing I'm seeing out of them this year that I didn't see last year is that extra effort, that extra pop. And this Robinson guy...hoo boy. (Now, depending on how things go in the future, let's hope they don't go Marlins mode and blow the whole thing up in a few years for more draft picks and $--pretty much like they just did this past offseason.) The Jaguars really do have a young and promising crew, and if not for that last-minute INT by Landry off a tipped pass, Jacksonville could've easily won that game. Which speaks to something Tennessee needs to shore up: that back end. I think they're relying too much on pressure up front at the expense of bending on the back side, and it showed yesterday. That said, it's only the second game and I'm sure Vrabel sees in and will address it. As far as Ryan Tannehill goes...well, as much as I liked Marcus Mariota, he was the Jason Williams to Ryan Tannehill's Mike Bibby--entertaining, but erratic at times, while Tannehill, at least right now, is far steadier a hand. I don't know that that hand was worth $107M, but still, he's a much steadier hand. And these Titans are looking DARN good through two games. They are much tougher this early into the season than they were last year. (I can't even call them the Snatit no more, dang it!) This is rough on me since I'm conflicted between home state team and the team I became a fan of during the almost five years I spent living in Nashville--but I guess that means I can enjoy the game that much more! *Disclaimer: I am not an authoritative expert on stuff...I just do a lot of reading and research and keep in close connect with a bunch of people who are authoritative experts on stuff. || dribbble || Behance ||

Drew is frankly too old to be a starter in the NFL; his inability to accurately throw the long ball has led to him becoming a liability on offense. He's been checking down all night; I don't think he completed a pass over 20 yards, and I'm not sure if he even attempted one. Doesn't matter; the bigger problem is the defense, with players like troublemaker Malcolm Jenkins, whose mouth is much bigger than his game. It is what it is.
