It's honestly :censored:ing insane what Brady has accomplished.

He's been in the league 21 years, and he's going to his 10th Super Bowl.

10th.

This is a guy that has spent half his career playing in the Super Bowl. While even some Hall of Fame players are lucky to make 1 or 2. Let alone win it.

If I wasn't a Patriots fan, I would find that completely disgusting. I'm happy for him though, glad he could bring some of that magic to an old forlorn team.

Now imagine alternate universe where Brady is 9-0 in Super Bowls, including a Perfect Season & Threepeat.

This is pretty insane really

He's played in 18% of all the Super Bowls.  If he wins, he'll have won 13% of them.  The Super Bowl has been a thing for 55 years, and he's played in ~20% of them.  There's no words for how ridiculous that is.

I don't love Tom Brady the human, but I do like Tom Brady the player.  I want him to win because I despise Andy Reid and everything he stands for want to be able to tell youngsters tales of watching the absolute greatest, just like I had to listen to stories of how great Joe Dimaggio was or Ted Williams.

When you tell them, Don't forget the most important part.

That the Super Bowl LII Champions Philadelphia Eagles beat him in Super Bowl LII.

As a non-Bucs fan, it seems like the logo on their helmets is completely irrelevant.  The Super Bowl is the Chiefs vs Tom Brady, and he just happens to be wearing a red jersey.  I don't mean that to disparage the Bucs, but it really doesn't seem like it's the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the Super Bowl.  Like even if I disliked them, I probably wouldn't care that they're there (unless I also disliked Tom Brady.)

When I look at the Bucs roster, I realized I overlooked that they have Jason Pierre-Paul, Ndamukong Suh, and ....LeSean McCoy?

I saw, I came, I left.

thats what makes so impressive. The Eagles are the only team in the NFL that Tom Brady couldn’t beat in Super Bowl LII. No other team can say that.

Yeah, for all the fanfare their offense gets with the likes of Brady, Gronk, Brown, Godwin, etc. It's really easy to overlook their defense, which has already shown how dangerously underrated they are.

I remember people saying their #1 Run defense was "overrated" last year.

They're the reason They beat Green Bay, despite Brady throwing 3 picks.

Sure you can. The Eagles aren't the only team to beat Tom Brady. The New York Giants have done it, they did it twice. If you aren't restricting the Super Bowl to "LII".

I usually go with the alternate universe where Warner doesn't throw that pick six, Seattle and Atlanta don't pull off the two biggest chokes in football history, and Brady is 3-6

Does that also include the alternate reality wherein it was actually ruled a fumble?? Because, you know, that's what started all of this... :)

You sure you wouldn't prefer the one where Warner doesn't throw that pick six, Carolina doesn't kick it out of bounds, McNabb doesn't puke, Seattle & Atlanta don't choke, and Goff doesn't.....Goff it up, and Brady is 0-9 in Super Bowls?

GOAT Super Bowl Choker.

0-8, had he actually (been ruled to have) fumbled...

The Tuck Rule shouldn't have been applied, because the ball was in both hands near his belt. That's not a pass attempt at that point.

I don't hate Brady that much 😄 Though I'd be more inclined to be happy for him if he was beating teams like Dallas or San Francisco in the Super Bowl instead of title-less teams like the Panthers and Falcons

I used to absolutely HATE that he won Super Bowls over teams like that. But now I see that he prevented two division rivals from getting a title, and is trying to give my Bucs a one trophy lead over the ENTIRE NFC South again (not to mention two west coast teams

I can’t stand, the Seahawks and Rams).

I :censored:in love this guy!

We'll see how hard Goodell comes down on this guy:

Wheeler is accused of assaulting a woman at an apartment in the Seattle suburb of Kent, according to a police report obtained by The Seattle Times. The Kent Police Department's report said Wheeler is accused of throwing the woman on a bed, strangling her before she lost consciousness and later picking a lock on a door to a bathroom, where the woman had fled to call 911 after she regained consciousness.

The report said the incident began when Wheeler asked the victim to bow to him, and when she did not he grabbed her and threw her on a bed.

The report said Wheeler then strangled the victim before she lost consciousness. The report also said when she regained consciousness, Wheeler was standing near the bed and said, “Wow you’re alive?”

He actually was surprised she was still alive - and he's out on only 400k bail.

I was hoping for this, ngl.

EDIT: Also, considering that the only organizations hiring are total clownshows this offseason, I think Bieniemy's goal is a bit more long-term. I think he's waiting until Reid is gone. I don't think Reid will coach much longer and in steps Eric while having Mahomes enter what is usually the prime age for QBs (my guess is Reid leaves 3-5 years out.). Name a better situation for him.
