Is.. is Dak the league’s MVP?

I’m only joking, (Russell Wilson is the MVP) but with Dak the Cowboys were averaging 33 ppg and without him, they’re averaging.. 6

Same supporting cast. Same awful (and injured) o-line, yet they look worse than the Brandon Weeden-led Cowboys.

One positive, if you can call it that, is that with Dak out it’s exposed how straight trash the Cowboys actually are.

The defense has minimal injuries when compared to the offense (only missing two starters, and a few back ups;) but their stars are playing and playing terribly. Special teams has been terrible again, and it’s clear that they have an elite offense with Dak, but he’s really covering up how poor the o-line has been for a few seasons now.

I’m all for TankSZN now. Blow this up and rebuild. And sign Dak to any contract he wants. He’s clearly a far better QB than anyone thought.

It's clear they've given up. I can't imagine how demoralizing it was seeing your team's heart and soul get injured and be out for the year.

I mean, if we take "valuable" by definition, you could make that argument. Not that any MVP awards are actually voted on that way, otherwise Peyton Manning would've been the MVP in 2011 when the Colts went from a 10-6 team to a 2-14 one in his absence with largely the same roster otherwise.

This Seahawks offense is pretty scary.

A Tampa Bay/Seattle NFC title game would be wonderful for the league.

So you're saying the Jaguars* have competition in the Tank for Trevor sweepstakes this year?

I'm not gonna go dig it up, but I summarized long ago why I felt Manning was the more influential QB between he and Brady (and why Brady was/is the more successful). The above bolded was basically the reason I pointed out. Bu comparison, the year Brady missed, the Patriots still went 10-6 with a freaking career backup (and I'm talking about dude was a backup since high school career backup) leading them. But that's all passe now.

*As if it'll matter--the Jets have the inside track on that sweepstakes now as it is...

I didn't see Arizona winning that; What a game.

Before he was drafting, I didn't think Murray was gonna be that great but he's been a damn stud for them. Taking him after they got Rosen a year before is looking like a good move on their behalf.

Great win for the Cardinals. I still think they’re probably a year or two out from maximizing on what they could be, but Murray is developing a lot faster than I would’ve expected. The NFC West is a great respite from how awful the NFC East is.

That can’t be right, I was told Tom Brady was a system quarterback and was old washed up after last year. 🤔

It's called better weaponry. When he has weapons, he puts up the numbers. He has way better talent around him this year than he did last year.

It is a shame that one of those NFC West teams cannot replace the NFC East "winner" because at least two of the NFC west teams will miss out on the playoffs.

I saw, I came, I left.
