I mean, if we take "valuable" by definition, you could make that argument. Not that any MVP awards are actually voted on that way, otherwise Peyton Manning would've been the MVP in 2011 when the Colts went from a 10-6 team to a 2-14 one in his absence with largely the same roster otherwise. The above bolded was basically the reason I pointed out. Bu comparison, the year Brady missed, the Patriots still went 10-6 with a freaking career backup (and I'm talking about dude was a backup since high school career backup) leading them. Before he was drafting, I didn't think Murray was gonna be that great but he's been a damn stud for them. Taking him after they got Rosen a year before is looking like a good move on their behalf. I still think they’re probably a year or two out from maximizing on what they could be, but Murray is developing a lot faster than I would’ve expected.
