dont care 7,018 Posted January 18 It’s just a different treatment that Brady likes for his balls. Teams are allowed to do this, and pretty much anything to their balls as long as they meet the correct measurements and inflated correctly. And as long as their isn’t a substance on the ball like stickum.

It may be completely benign, but I feel like this is something we would have noticed earlier in the season. I've seen the Tom Brady show before, and am happy to have put some money on the Bucs tonight. Bummer for Saints fans; Green Bay is going to carve this team up next week.

One of the funniest instances of Meathead Football Pseud, and I challenge you to top this one, was when erstwhile Bears GM Phil Emery said something like "we can talk about this to the ninth degree," meaning "to the nth," implying that every time he ever came across it, he thought it was a typo of ninth, nine being bigger than other numbers such as two, three, or four.

AustinFromBoston 834 Posted January 18 I think Tampa has. good chance against GB. Especially if the defense plays like they did today. GB’s secondary isn’t as good as The Saints, plus Rodgers has a habit of melting down in the Conference Championship.

AustinFromBoston 834 Posted January 18 Is Brady the first QB to play in BOTH conference championship games? I feel like I’m forgetting someone that did?
FiddySicks 11,371 Posted January 18 I thought the Bucs had absolutely no chance today. The defense, who I absolutely lambasted coming into the game, played lights out. My best friend is a die hard Packers fan, and we’ve never had an opportunity to play against each other in the playoffs since we met. This is going to be so much fun!

Craig Morton was the first. Dallas (to get to Super Bowl V), and Denver (to get to Super Bowl XII).

It's called "doubt". Brady seems to feed off it like some sort of parasite.
FiddySicks 11,371 Posted January 18 I’m here to do the job nobody wants to do by doubting a Brady led team. It’s a public service I provide to society free of charge. You all should be thanking me.
waltere 602 Posted January 18 By somewhat stretching the definition of "played" in both championship games to include unused backups you can add to the list Stan Humphries and Trent Dilfer (whose appearances came in consecutive years!)

Don Shula coached the NFL Colts in Super Bowl before leading the AFC Dolphins to multiple conference title games.
