I’m so fascinated with how people can sit there and say that the Cowboys color rush is good. What in the world is good about it? Is it just nostalgia? The uniforms were just as awful in the 90s too. The double outline is dumb, the star on the shoulder isn’t awful but doesn’t look necessarily better then if it was on the sleeve, and those color sleeves look pitiful. It looks like a featured that was design with a microsoft paint bucket tool. The white pants are dumb because the ruins any color balance with the silver, which is also my complaint with the ugly Niners throwbacks.

Honestly the green pants are somehow their best look, and that look is probably a bottom five, or around there, uniform in the league.

I agree with all this.  I also don't get the strange love for their navy jersey uniform. Why should they dump their primary white uniform for either the ugly color rush or the boring navy jerseys, when the obvious and easy fix is just to match the blue-silver shades on the iconic uniform they've worn 90% of the time for the last 50+ years?

I honestly don't understand your disagreement with me or your debating style.  Nobody's giving them a pass.

I hope you know I was never disagreeing about anything. Just pointing out that Dallas has better options and should use them appropriately.

Yeah, wouldn't that be something if the Titans brought back a navy helmet?

Oops. Yeah I meant a powder blue helmet! lol
To be fair, it does kinda prove my point. Which teams would really use the rule to introduce a gimmicky helmet? Jaguars, maybe? But even then, I feel like after 2 failed experiments, they're probably gonna stick to a solid black helmet for a few more years. Unless you're really opposed to the Patriots and Bucs bringing back white helmets or Bills bringing back red helmets for their respective throwback uniforms, I don't see what the big deal is. Would it be the end of the world if the Jets had a black helmet or if the Texans had a red helmet to wear from time to time? Just two random examples but I can't really think of many other teams that could maybe use the rule for an alternate helmet that isn't a throwback

It's honestly kind of ridiculous how much better a white jersey looks for the Rams already.

With that said, the set still isn't perfect, but this would absolutely be a step in the right direction. I don't even mind the yellow and white touching; the yellow stripe is still large enough for it to stand out.

Obviously wishful thinking, but it would be so rad if they had a red shell and could somehow pair it with clear face masks as a shout out to this look. Slap a cabinet drawer handle on the side too, just for fun.

I understand not loving the white pants on the CR, but I think most would advocate for matching silver pants anyway.

I think the shoulder stars are fun, as opposed to a striping pattern that adds nothing to a larger, less-than-cohesive mess (although I don't even hate the quirk of the greenish pants).

And while I normally don't love double outlines, it makes perfect sense for the Cowboys given their logo uses multiple outlines in order to say "Cowboys" instead of "generic star emblem." It's a little cheesy, just like the Dallas Cowboys.

So I guess I don't see what's so fascinating, the home whites are easy to pick apart and the alternatives are arguably better.

I hadn't thought of that.  Wouldn't it make more sense to have the double outlines on the white jersey since the star is blue-white-blue?

I dunno, sometimes I feel like this forum should rise above the typical takes you read in other places on the internet...Just tired of seeing knee jerk reactions like "bone is ugly" or "two helmets is bad"

I prefer the reactions on here to the inevitable "so clean", or 🔥🔥🔥 responses that you see from the general public whenever a new uniform is unveiled.

You can complain all you want, but there's a reason teams like the Packers, Colts, Raiders, etc. uniforms have stood the test of time, meanwhile teams like the Bucs & Jags have immediately backpedaled to traditional looks the first chance they got.

If you mean the primary home whites, then I suppose, but nobody is accusing that set of making sense.

For the record, I don't think the Cowboys NEED a double outline to match, just arguing that it's an acceptable usage.

The NBA, MLB, and color rush program determined this was a lie.

If the Cowboys actually used this shade of blue-silver and committed to it full time, I would absolutely love the color scheme on the left. That blue-silver and royal looks incredible. They would just have to standardize the whole set to it, and preferably make the (now royal) jersey match the white

Translation: You've already seen the jersey. Download this app and you'll see it on a person!

The Browns have a way of building up hype, just for the normal fans to say "that's it?!"

Lets hope the new Rams jersey stay with yellow pants. It would not surprise me if they paired that up with the bone pants

I heard on reddit they will exclusively go white over bone.
