International (NATIONAL TEAMS) Soccer/Football Kits 2021/2022 (World Cup, etc)

Remember Puma's big dump of national team kits a couple of days ago? Well, here are some more that were specifically designed for the Women's Euro 2022 tournament this summer. They're all collaborations with London-based fashion house Liberty, which is known for its floral prints. So some elements from the versions we saw earlier in the week have been replaced with tonal floral patterns.

Austria (who weren't among Monday's releases):

Puma is also making boots and goalkeeper gloves with Liberty floral prints for the tournament.

More than one Adidas team doing it makes it look like pinkwashing.

I'm so old I remember when Nike made a big show of giving the same kits to both teams for the USA. One nation, one team and all of that.

And then Football Australia didn't order any women's fan jerseys for the current aways because they didn't think they'd sell enough. Now the USA has three to four kits a year between both teams getting a tournament specific jersey. The official away shirt hasn't been worn in a year.

Ireland wearing orange jerseys today vs Ukraine.
couldn’t tell from Twitter what socks/shorts Colors are yet.

Could be a good looking uniform matchup depending on what Ukraine goes with for a kit.

Probably all  blue

Need to get rid of the gold for good.

Italy have had gold on their crest for decades, and it complimented the blue on their shirts, helped the crest pop. They don't need to get rid of it, just make sure it isn't on white, which it is on the leaked crest.

If you're going to argue about it at least acknowledge that Gold wasn't on there for decades more and that it doesn't accentuate the Colour Blue one iota.

Pop?

Blue and gold are complimentary colours, and two of the right shades can make the colour blue pop.

The gold has been on the crest since 1947, when the team started wearing the Italian Tricolor on their shirt. The team played it's first international match in 1910. The team have played for most of their history with the Italian Tricolor on the shirt and it always had some shade of gold on it.

Having won four World Cups, gold should be on the badge. It does work better when touching blue instead of white though. I'm guessing this is an Adidas redesign, but it looks like a generic EA badge when they don't have permission to use the real one.

Yellow is not gold.

No where in that link does it state that gold was added to any part of their kit.

Maybe Gold was added in 1982 to proudly display their 3 World Cups?

Still think the gold isn't needed and just makes the logo look awkward having way to many colours.

It was on the crest since 1947 and has been on every crest since. Nike added gold to the actual kit in 1995.

The name and numbers on the 2006 home shirt and blue shorts were gold.

And the names and numbers on the 2020 shirt in which they beat England on penalties last year were gold. It has been part of their colour palette since 1947.

From that same link (translated to English by Google, emphasis mine):

Quote

The monarchy was also abolished, with the birth of the Italian Republic in 1946 , in that year the Azzurri took the field without any coat of arms, [58] and, in 1947 , a tricolor originally collected in a scudetto with a golden border was placed on the shirts . similar in shape to that of the Italian champion teams of any discipline. [11] [154]

Also there's this chart, from which I've sampled colours from each version of the crest since 1947. It's imperfect because the crests are so small, but I think every shade used can reasonably be called gold.
