mjd77
Wow!...a lot of nice looks there. Maybe it's just slipping my mind at the moment but I don't remember that pinstripe jersey at all.
Gothamite
And, of course, the Hammer finished with the strongest. minor quibble, though - in addition to being too small, those aren’t the right numbers. Those are the Brewers’ post-1987 version, the originals had an angled left edge. Hank missed the 90-degree angle by about a decade. The Green Bay Packers Uniform Database! Now in a handy blog. leopard88
My minor quibbles are with the 1969 home uniform. The graphic makes it look like the jersey has placket piping (which may just be how the template is designed, though the 1971 road jersey doesn't show piping). However, that was not the case. The graphic also shows a red billed cap. However, the Braves were solid navy caps with their home and road uniforms then. Gothamite
If only we could fix the mothership problems. I bet every team older than 1990 has a dozen inaccuracies on its page. The_Admiral
The Braves sure had a lot of bad uniforms between the uniform, didn't they. It's almost as bad a run as the White Sox had. ♫ oh yeah, board goes on, long after the thrill of postin' is gone ♫

OnWis97
Imagine someone today playing for over 20 years for two different franchises, one of which relocates and having such a small array of uniforms. Nowadays this is nocked out with a couple of September call ups. The White Sox managed to be a next level of bad even amongst the Pirates, Orioles, etc. (The A's were garish too, but that was charmingly on brand for them.) At least the Braves don't have to have their glory years associated with those less than flattering unis; save for Hank's #715; and I actually kind of like that one. In a perfect world, this would be the catalyst for the modern Brewers to apply their thick piping to the rest of their uniforms and own it as part of their brand. Gothamite
I don’t think thick piping would work on the neck of a button-up, though. And it doesn’t work on the sleeves without being balanced by the neck. The Green Bay Packers Uniform Database! Now in a handy blog.
MilSox
I wouldn't recommend neck piping for the Brewers. Just take the thick sleeve piping, then apply it to the rest of the jerseys and pants.
Gothamite
Don't think that'll look good. They didn't even try wide pants stripes in the 1970s. This only works because the thick sleeve stripes are balanced by the thick waist stripe, and the thin pants stripes are balanced by the thin neck stripe. Remove any one of those four elements, and the delicate balance is shattered. Remove two and the whole thing falls apart. The Green Bay Packers Uniform Database! Now in a handy blog. MilSox
I don't think their modern thick piping is quite that wide though. I think it would look fine on pants.
