Gothamite 24,544 Posted December 2, 2020 I even like the home plate star by itself. I wonder if they'll be adding that league logo to jerseys or caps.

Dilbert 966 Posted December 4, 2020 Yikes! You'd think now that the Frontier League is a MLB partner league they'd go with a look that doesnt look like it came from clipart
NoE38_Concepts 1,679 Posted December 4, 2020 Only positive is that they stayed true to the city's red and black colour scheme.
DNAsports 6,156 Posted December 9, 2020 I wonder if now because the Frederick Keys aren’t affiliated with Baltimore anymore, they’ll drop the orange and black color scheme and have a much needed logo face lift

I was expecting something a bit similar to the NPB Giants Logo from the 2000s (the one with the baseball player) but with colors that match the city other team (Ottawa RedBlacks). Wasn't expecting a rejected cartoon characters from the 1990s..

While Spartanburg has been the home of minor league baseball teams dubbed the Spartans in the South Carolina League (1907), the Carolina Association (1908-11) and the South Atlantic League (1922-39), most people in the region now associate said identity with the athletic programs at the University of South Carolina Upstate.

Brian in Boston 2,831 Posted December 11, 2020 Outstanding update! A perfect balance has been achieved between maintaining those design elements that speak to the Hudson Valley Renegades' brand history and integrating aspects of the Yankees' storied visual identity. Typically terrific work from Dan and Studio Simon.
