coco1997 Posted July 6, 2021 Share Posted July 6, 2021 I think my main issue with the Giants set is that, much like the D-Backs set, it's just too...plain. I don't understand people who think that removing the bridges would improve the uniform. Take those away and the uniform is even MORE plain. At least the bridges give it some character. Without them it's just a white Giants uniform with no black, a G on the front and numbers that look like a can of whipped cream exploded on them. I was in my 30s when I realized that the GGB was actually orange and not red. It looks about as red as it can possibly be from any distance more than 5 feet away. Also, it’s apparently the same shade of orange as NASA’s orange flight suits. Looks a lot closer to their old fuel tanks, though.
