Quillz Posted April 9, 2021 Share Posted April 9, 2021 Putting it into context alongside the Lakers and Kings makes more sense. Seems the idea was to try to have a common color amongst the sports teams of the city, kind of similar to what Pittsburgh does. Depending on the particular hue of purple used, it might not have looked bad in of itself. But of course, the Dodgers were too well established for any kind of change like that to ever be made.
