Yesterday, the final three candidates for the team's new identity were revealed to the public. The team will be known as the High Point Dragon Claws, High Point Rockers, or High Point Splinters. Previously eliminated names in the multi-round contest were Chairmen, Hush Puppies, Iron Dragons, Iron Eagles, Pioneers, RockerSox, and Tri-Stars.
