Colt Brennan, Univ. of Hawaii QB, has died

This is one of those deaths that surprise you because you didn't know the issues they had after they left the spotlight. The fact he was trying to get better but couldn't doesn't help. 

 

In 2007, Brennan was a Heisman Trophy finalist after throwing for 4,343 yards and 38 touchdowns while rushing for 8 additional scores. He finished third behind Florida quarterback Tim Tebow and Arkansas running back Darren McFadden. Brennan had a remarkable year in 2006, racking up 5,549 yards through the air and throwing 58 touchdown passes while completing 72.6% of his passes. He also rushed for 366 yards and 5 touchdowns.
