Seattle may want their Fleury. He played not bad tonight. But this Carey we got tonight didn't show up in games 1, 2, 3. It was a 1-0 game... he played " not bad"? Oy vey! He made a great save, when the Habs were trailing by a goal. In the most important games of his career, he gets destroyed twice in 3 straight losses, before losing the series 4-1. How could it not be disappointing? He wasn't the goalie he was in rounds 1-3. It's true though, that he has a bad inconsistency issue. No lies detected. Unocal
Seems like just yesterday Vasilevsky was the guy that had to step in for an injured Ben Bishop in the 2016 East Finals
ManillaToad
I love that the team gathered around the Cup for the presentation again this year, hope it becomes the new tradition

Some real salty fans in Montreal & Vegas, but he didn't say anything wrong. Vas was a first-team all star & finished 7th in Hart voting. Fleury didn't get a single Hart vote. The only reason he didn't get the Vezina is because the GMs wanted to give Fleury his lifetime achievement award, and 3 of them left Vas off their ballot all together. I think Hellebucyk deserved it last season though. As for the Montreal fans, I'm glad someone called out how obnoxious they can be. The Atlantic is going to be tough next year, so I'd love to see them fall on their faces & miss the playoffs.

Kevin W.
The mere fact that Tom Brady gets to celebrate this is reason enough to hate the Lightning when they win.

But whatever, not that big of a deal. I like Fleury and Vasi likely won't need this Vezina for the HOF. 7 hours ago, spartacat_12 said: As for the Montreal fans, I'm glad someone called out how obnoxious they can be. I don't have a problem with Montreal fans although there were a lot that were delusional and insisted the teams had played evenly through the first three or four games, which was kind of weird. They seem to have taken the series pretty well, unlike Islanders fans who are still salty their feisty team of goons couldn't clutch and grab and crosscheck their way into the SCF. Speaking of. From the cheap shot in Game 6 against NYI, per Joe Smith of The Athletic: Nikita Kucherov led #NHL with 32 playoff points. He also played #SCF with a fractured rib from this cross check against Isles. Had to have multiple injections, including flying back to Tampa between Games 3 + 4. “That’s all heart,” Blake Coleman said
Kevin W.
We should be thankful that we're dealing with salty obnoxious Canadiens fans rather than salty obnoxious Maple Leafs fans.
