damnyoutuesday
White Sox-Mariners scorebug on ESPN is using the Mariners' fauxback logo and colors, even though they are wearing their standard home with the navy and teal Sorry, I'm on an iPad
SSmith48
Looks like the All-Star game is moving to Colorado: Coors Field to host 2021 MLB All-Star Game, sources say (espn.com) What should we expect with the branding? I'm thinking probably something a bit more generic if the NBA is anything to go by. New logo with more Rockies/Denver influences and maybe recycled or stock-ish uniforms? I would think that the current logo could even be re-skinned with the Rockies having a similar setup with their scoreboard: Sidenote: As a Colorado resident and Rockies fan, this makes me very happy :). It's been forever since the Mile High City has held an all-star anything. Visit my website at SSmith Designs (google.com)

Their governor already rejected any interest and even declined to throw the first pitch because of MLB's decision. You can figure out why for yourself. You know, no politics rule... It's a self-selecting group of people who'd willingly attend a full stadium game in the middle of a pandemic, which means this particular collection of Chin Diapers isn't fond of diligent mask wearing or vaccines to begin with. If 10% of that crowd is fully vaccinated I think that'd be a very generous estimate.
CS85
Political slop aside, I'd like to resume letting my happiness reside in baseball being back and enjoying fans being back in attendance. It's great to have warm weather returning after what felt like a very, very long winter, and the game of summer playing out on green grass under blue skies in front of folks is a comfort I didn't expect to hit me as hard as it has. FiddySicks
I’m not sure the Angels have quite the pitching to hang on and compete for a playoff spot this season, but my goodness are they fun to watch. I think it’s that it isn’t on a player and jersey isn’t tucked in. You have to think about the bottom 1/3 of the jersey will end up getting tucked in. Also baseball numbers tend to be on the smaller side compared to most other sports.

Mo Egger made a good point that the 2019 team that had higher expectations than this year's team already had 5 losses by this point to a Pirates team that would go on to lose 93 games. If you don't beat the bad teams like you're supposed to then you have to win more games against the good teams. That's how it works. They also scored 27 runs in the three games against the Cardinals who were everybody's pick to win the division so I think they might have something here. It's a long year, lots can happen, I still have concerns, and injuries will happen, but yeah just enjoying not tripping out of the gate for the first time since I don't know, 2014?
