Not neccessarily. If the NFL continues to be the morally corrupt organization we know, and Watson does play, I think they are better than Pittburgh, at least.

There is too much around him to not put him on the commissioners exempt list.

The Commanders 32s mishandling of contract extension talks with star WR Terry McLaurin is nothing new. It’s perfectly summarizes this franchise’s reign under Snyder. They don’t know how to keep talent around. All these things are handed to them, but yet they can’t even gather the courage to stick their hands out and say “thank you”

Insane that Deshaun Watson will face less punishment for his actions than Calvin Ridley did for his. I just love when the shield talks about their "integrity." Yuck.

With the reports on Dan Snyder from 2009, I feel like the NFL just told Deshaun, "Pay what it takes to get this off ESPN please".  He'll still get more coverage than Snyder though.

The gist, for those that don't have access:

"The Washington Commanders and owner Dan Snyder are subjects of an NFL-led investigation into sexual harassment and workplace misconduct for the second time in two years. Allegations against the team and Snyder, who bought the franchise in 1999, come from at least 50 former employees — many of whom have spoken out publicly — and implicate at least 11 members or former members of the organization over a span of 18 years.

The allegation that spurred the latest investigation was made specifically against Snyder after former employee Tiffani Johnston accused him of inappropriately touching and harassing her at a work dinner. NFL commissioner Roger Goodell is set to testify before the House Committee on Oversight and Reform on Wednesday as Congress continues to investigate the team’s workplace culture.

This evolving, complicated situation can be difficult to track. To understand how things got where they are, check out the below timeline, which will be updated as new information emerges. The latest developments are listed first".

When your "boss" has to go talk to Congress about you, it's not a good day.

At what point do the owners go “regardless of what precedent this sets, this scumbag can no longer be an owner” and cut bait.

At this point I think he has to kill his ex-wife and her friend after a dance recital.

Dan Snyder is out here court-dodging a federal case.

He worked with the NFL, to conduct a “shadow probe” in a effort to hide and bury findings from an internal investigation.

This scum of a human should be exiled from ever owning a professional sports team, let alone a business of any magnitude.

Roger goodell says he has no authority to remove Snyder as owner, but the owners can collectively vote him out right?

So Adam Silver has more power than Goodell? Who'd have thunk it?

At least until training camp and preseason is over.

At this point of the year, why make the big announcement if you're a little more than 2 months out from the regular season?  He was a free agent anyways, so he didnt have to say anything.

His only scandal in 8 seasons in the NBA.  He's also yet to deal with labor issues like Rob Manfred just did or Gary Bettman has had 3 times.  There's the whole thing with China that is controversial, but it hasn't done as much damage to him as these other scandals have done to Roger Goddell.  I mean, Jerry Jones with hush money to cheerleaders involving his former PR man Rich Darymple plus an alleged love child.  Robert Kraft and his thing, lawsuits from Jon Gruden and Brian Flores. The DeShaun Watson situation and of course Daniel Snyder.

A few weeks ago, ESPN made mention that half the coaches in the NBA were African American and Erik Spoelstra is half Filipino.  Stephen A Smith said that 15 coaches being black in the NBA was way more than the 4 in the NFL.

Plus NBA teams don't have to rely on a network former, older GM's for coaching searches like NFL teams do when NFL teams use the network of former NFL GMs in Charlie Casserly, Ernie Acorsi, Ron Wolf and Bill Polian.

True, that's his only true scandal. But Goodell seems to walk into new ones every year. With some of these allegations, he needs to Kennesaw Mountain Landis Snyder at this point and tell him to sell or do something to get rid of the stench from that team other than what he's done which is slap a new layer of paint on a rusted Model A in his front lawn, which is overgrown and may be possibly hide multiple snake pits and a racoon family that's obviously feral.

An organization where fame, money and power intersect is corrupt to the core, hated by the people who consume their content and the leader of that organization has an abysmal approval rating? And they’re interrogating the NFL? Sounds fun.
