Wisconsin's game vs Ohio State was moved from November to September, and they play Purdue at home instead of away. Ohio State was supposed to start Big Ten play with Penn State and Michigan State but those have been moved around as well. Penn State will be Halloween weekend this year. Also, Nebraska and Northwestern will start their seasons in Dublin, Ireland. Chang was going to be the HC of Hawaii at some point and, according to some, would have been on Jones' staff but June wanted more freedom in his staff beyond that. Hawaii didn't want to throw a first time head coach into this mess but they were forced to. I think Hawaii head coach Timmy Chang would have a mile long leash. I spent a weird amount of time at Aloha Stadium when I was a kid for a variety of different reasons, and I can’t think of any other sporting venue at any level that was even close to being as rancid as that place was. It made the Oakland Coliseum look like a palace, by comparison. And it wasn’t just gross, it was downright dangerous. The last time I was there, large sections of the metal platforms holding the bleachers had collapsed due to rust, and that was almost 15 years ago. I want to see him take the job in either Las Vegas or Miami, because I like the idea of him playing his brother every other year so he can lose. I also think going back to June Jones wasn't the best idea, but telling a coach you want to bring in that he absolutely has to have a certain person on the staff never works out well, even if they agree to it.
