cajunaggie08
Texas A&M unveiled their 2022 uniform set last night and the first under new Head Coach Jim Schlossnagle. The biggest change is the addition of the 1990's Texas Aggies uniforms. Another change is the return to button down uniforms after wearing mostly pullovers the last few seasons. https://www.goodbullhunting.com/2022/1/28/22906367/texas-a-m-aggies-baseball-reveals-2022-uniforms?fbclid=IwAR3YYqtSnC-UuKN2UivNj2Q7PMCyz5QQ0ncqmdOBydYILgxCKT67aeaH7gs

I'm pretty certain it's a Texas college thing because I believe UT-Austin has 5 or 6 uniforms as well. (Technically 7?)

(Technically 7?) I think its just a college baseball thing as long as you have a good apparel deal/large budget. College baseball teams are only allowed to have 11.7 scholarships per season so the money has to go somewhere
ProfessorBigShots
crazy how these college teams can have 5+ beautiful uniforms when most major league teams struggle to have
TBGKon
Yes, definitely a college thing. Even South Florida has 6 that I can recall. (white, gray, black, gold, green with gold USF, green with neon yellow Bulls)

MLB plays it a little closer to the vest, so to speak. Smart is believing half of what you hear. Genius is knowing which half.

Tennessee can use it to sell merchandise east of the Mississippi River and Texas to the west of the Mississippi River. Both schools have since faded use of the logo. With the schools set to become conference mates soon I would expect to practically never see it again.

The T logo on a white hat is pretty iconic for the Longhorns. Tennessee wore the UT logo for a long time. Smart is believing half of what you hear. Genius is knowing which half. MJWalker45
The Texas block T has a pretty long history as well, since Darrel Royal wore it as head football coach.
WestCoastBias
UCLA is now with Nike, here's their new pinstriped uniforms. Notable changes include a street pattern inside the numbers on the back and a switch from the football gold to the basketball gold.

Great to see that Nike learned how to put the pinstripes over the mesh inserts on the back as well. IIRC the last few years that template had been around, they didn't put pinstripes on that section. Discrim
A bit of a whiff from UCLA here...the football number font isn't doing it for me on a baseball uniform, and why did they feel the need to put the UCLA script on the back too? SFGiants58
I just want them to use Clarendon numbers on football and baseball (the outdoor sports). MLB: Project 32 (Complete), MLB: The Defunct Saga (Complete)

The number font and UCLA script on the back are holdovers from the old Under Armour uniforms.

WestCoastBias
Not a uniform, but new field design for Oregon. I usually don't like giant logos in centerfield but I think this fits Oregon's brand pretty well. Here's the old field design for reference.
