2022 NBA Offseason

When PayPal, not extending their agreement with the Suns, sponsors are backing out. I don’t agree with LeBron on a lot of things in this world, but if you lead a toxic workplace in a normal world, your boss is likely to get fired. You lead off with being sexist, and just telling the guy that he’s an N word, more than likely that boss is getting suspended and with a review, likely fired. I’m sorry but if Sarver is leading a toxic workplace and people are uncomfortable in their situation because of how he acts towards women and minorities, he needs to have the Suns stripped of him. There are minority owners who have stated that they would be happy to buy his stake and appoint a Majority Owner. This is a black eye to the Suns and he needs to go

Yeah, as a local radio guy said yesterday, Lebron is awesome at stepping in to put the 18th bullet into the already dead horse.

This is pretty simple. If Lebron wants him gone he can have it tomorrow. Just he and every other player says, we're not playing in a league where this guy's an owner. Period. If Lebron feels that strongly, then he can sit. If he did that, the guy would be gone.

This is really the only way I could see it, but one team from the eastern seaboard would have to move to what's now the central. I threw Washington over because they don't really have any intense rivalries with any of those teams. I suppose you could keep Minnesota out west and move New Orleans over as well.

Minnesota goes east, they're closer to Cleveland than they are to anyone in their current division. Memphis meanwhile is in a nice little pocket down there with New Orleans, the Texas teams, and OKC (in your scenario), no reason to split that up.

Toronto would seem to be an obvious candidate for jumping into the new Central/Great Lakes/whatever division due to location, but they've been enough of a heel for the Celtics and Sixers in recent years that I think there's an argument for keeping them together. I don't know what kind of impact customs has on it being an "easy" trip for the most nearby teams like the Cavs or Pistons or whatever.

Washington, Atlanta, and Charlotte are three historical whatever teams that have never seem to have anything going on with anyone and therefore can be used to just fill in the gaps as needed. Moving Washington out of the Atlantic and out of the proximity of the other BosWash teams seems unnecessary. I'd send Atlanta and Charlotte to join Minnesota in the Central while keeping Washington and Toronto in the Atlantic. The Hawks did play in the Central up until 2004, for whatever that's worth (not much).

Very weird week for the NBA. They seem to have those at least once or twice every few seasons, too. The off court stuff really is the bread and butter of that league.

Escalated quickly. Seems weird to me that a consensual relationship with a co-worker, while bad, would merit the same punishment as the owner who was harassing every woman in the office for years.

Considering that if I ever had sex, I'd likely be fired from my job no matter who I had sex with, he got off easy.

It's hard to say for sure, since we don't really know what happened (and probably won't) (and probably shouldn't). This is probably more an indictment of the penalty for serial harassment.

The convenience of the details that have leaked so far I think is really irresponsible gossiping from the Shams-Woj complex. Stick to trades!

I'm not sure what the rules of your job have to do with anything.  Are you saying that anybody that has sex should be punished because you can't for whatever reason?

What job is this? Even the Catholic priesthood found a loophole, or at least some kind of hole.
