Has the old “fake going for it on 4th down to get the other team to jump offsides” ever worked?  Like in history?  Ever?

Yep!  Buffalo did it against the Eagles back in 2011, and the Eagles announcer went ape-poop.

It looks stupid that receivers always hold their hands out like "what?  how did he get away with that?  no flag?  I was robbed!" even before the ref has a chance to throw the flag.  Maybe give it a few seconds?  They look like whiny female dogs.

They’re just watching too much NBA.

Someone fell for it in last month, which resulted in the game clinching first down for the opponent. I forget which teams were involved, if someone wants to help me out here

Talanoa Hufanga is such an amazing player. Haven't seen anyone with his impressive instincts since Polamalu. The similarities are uncanny, even if you factor in that Polamalu is mentoring him. Not just anyone can time snap counts like they do. Looks like he'll be a game wrecker for years to come. Easily one of my favorite defensive players to watch.

Basically every 49ers fan I know considers him their favorite. Infectious energy.

No. Because Marino made a Super Bowl in his second year and then never made it back. If anyone is the new Marino, it would have to be Burrow if he fails to make it again.

Oh that's right, I was really asking WHO'S YOUNG CAREER MIRRORS DAN MARINO'S MOST? Nothing to so with never getting a ring. 🥴🥴🥴

In that context, yes. He came in as the 'overlooked' QB in his class. Put up great numbers and seemed like he was possibly the best of the bunch. But then always finds a way to lose a playoff game.

Dan Marino was a legit HOF QB.

Jared Allen is more on Donovan McNabb watch now (though even McNabb made it to a SB.)

"🚫💍"

Do we need to put Josh Allen on No Ring Ever watch? That was the original post.

*sigh*

Greg Olsen is a very underrated announcer.  It's a shame that he'll be demoted as soon as Tom Brady retires.
