SambamOverTime Posted March 4, 2023 Share Posted March 4, 2023 I was inspired by a shirt that my friend wore that donned, "The Windy City," and the shirt was so nice that I decided to make a soccer crest based around that. Moreover, the current weather of my city fits the theme of the club, so I feel heavily inclinded to make it. I wanted the concept to have a bit of a classic, yet modern feel. And, after doing a bit of research on different naming conventions used by soccer teams in the British Isles, I went with the nickname, "Rovers". There isn't a lot of backstory behind this. Just some weather, naming conventions, and a friend's shirt is what got me to create this! This is my first concept that I've posted to the forums, so of course, any and all C&C is welcome!
